| I was kind of curious what to expect. I received the mount
(w- cradle) and Im very pleased! Suction cup is strong and
the flex shaft is solid, but pliable, and no vibration what
so ever when the GPS is on windshield!! Im pleased with
purchase and it works great!! | |

| This is a very stable mount with a secure suction cup. I have
it mounted on the dash of my boat and the flexible neck works
well to place the GPS in various positions. The flexible neck
is very stiff which limits shaking and provides for a secure,
stable mount. Overall, I'm very pleased with this product. | |

| I was a bit sceptical as to whether it would work, but it's
proved an excellent mount. I fly gliders and mounted it on
the inside left of the plexiglass canopy. I've positioned
it at eye level and the ETREX gives me good feedback re
glide ratios and distance from our club's field. The
suction cup mount has proved suprisingly secure and when
flying a light aircraft in thermals, that's important. I'm
quite pleased. | |

| The flex arm is very stiff, which is good and bad. I think this is best if you
expect to bend it into a particular shape ONCE and leave it. I think I prefer the
ball-clamp style of RAM positioning arms. The mount is also not as low-profile
as the ball-clamp type, which means the gps wiggles more when it's hanging
from the windshield. Overall, this mount feels a bit more plasticky and less
durable than my other "original" style RAM mounts. | |
