| I bought 2 of these to use in my amateur radio use. I cut
the ring connectors off and added Anderson PowerPoles in
their place.I am able to use one for my laptop power supply
and use the other for multiple uses such as GPS. Doing this
allowed me to utilize my 30 amp distribution feed rather
than the standard outlets in my truck. I am able to fuse
them at whatever I want up to their max ratings and it makes
them more versatile. | |

| I returned it, Not at all what I expected, the wiring was
way too short to reach from handle bars (no mount attached)
to the battery. | |

| I used this socket and an old 12VDC, 1 amp power module
that plugs into a wall socket to make my GPS work indoors.
It's neat. | |
