plastic wraps around my gps for sure. My only issue was that
my cig power adaptor cord ends in an L shape. Which brings the
cable pointing down once it exits the back of the gps. And
molded into the holder is a bit of plastic I had to file down
so it would not get in the way of the downward pointing usb
cable. Took a bit to file it down and make it look neat but
once I did it, the cable had no issue plugging in. Thom, October 22, 2012 Great product...works as advertised...one weak point: I
frequentlyhave to remove my unit, but leave the cradle assy
in place...the plastic clip at the top needs to be a bit
stronger as it easily breaks if not careful
