I had one before this that lasted forever, until I lost it.
My only complaint is that the GPS rattles in the mount a
bit although it is held securely. It's just a bit "loose". Mark, June 9, 2011 Awesume mount for the older Garmin GPS III or V. Sturdy,
well made. Locks in GPS solid. Has detail like a loop to
hook your hand strap to, and the lock screw hole in the
back to lock you GPS in just in case it should get knocked
loose. I use this older GPS because you can see the display
in direct bright sunlight. Larry, February 3, 2009 Strong and secure mounting for GPS. I use on a
dual sport bike and cover some pretty rough roads.
No possibility of the GPS bouncing out.
