| I bought two of these. One I mounted on a BMW tubular
handlebar using the u-bolt mounting. That one is
excellent. The other I mounted to the clutch reservoir on
a Kawasaki ZZR1200. I am not confident that mount will
last. Torquing the reservoir bolts to spec caused the
kit's plastic spacers to extrude into the overly large
slots in the RAM unit. In other words, the spacers
supplied with the kit were grossly undersized. The spacers
also are too soft/malleable. I ended up adding some
washers to stope the extrusion problem, but I'm not at all
confident that the softness of the spacers won't lead to
loosening of the reservoir mounting over time. If I had
needed to mount this unit on the brake reservoir, I'd have
not done it, because of the much higher forces involved in
braking versus clutching. It is just not safe, I think.
Good order fulfillment on the part of gps city! | |

| Just installed the mount on my 2005 Kawasaki Brute Force
ATV. I used the brake reservoir bolts, but with the U-bolt
included it has many other mounting options. Very solid
mounting even on the rough terrain. | |
