| Had a c550 for 3 years and worked great. Bought an 855t and
it is piece of junk- only because it freezes. The rest of
it is okay but what good is a still map on a gps? | |

| What a piece of junk it doesn't work all the time shut's
down for no reason, this piece of junk from garmin has
issue and I telling anyone thinking of buying one don't
waste your money plus Garmin doesn't stand by there product
never return emails about the concerns and problems with
there product no anwser from them I know they know they
have a piece junk on there hands and have given up. Again
everybody don't waste your money there are better GPS out

| this gps keeps freezing alot and it's not worth the money and
if i were u i would buy onther nuvi , the reason i said nuvi
because i found nuvi's r the best but not the 885t or 885

| Great unit, all the feature's are what I just wanted, Shame
the instructions weren't written with more understanding.
Spent quite some time googling how to's. Finally had
issues and contacted Garmin via email. They're were
stumped and finally linked to me with a control assist.
Took better part of an hour to solve the issues. Now
whenever I upload routes or music, or anything I have to
uninstall the battery to reboot, to make it active Bit
annoying but it works. Also disappointed that its also not
supported for MSN Direct in 2012. Seems like nulink will
replace that but wasn't aware of that till after the
purchase. So live with or without features in 2 more
years. | |
