Here's some recent Garmin Nuvi 775T reviews:
TravellingDevonian March 7, 2010	I purchased my Nuvi 775T last year and used it in the UK, Portugal and USA. It worked perfectly and I was really impressed. I recently decided to purchase additional maps and so finally got round to registering the product. I followed the prompts to update the software first. It failed partway through (48% complete then a page full of error messages) and now the device is completely dead (not switching on and 'device not found' message from the Garmin website). I have had no help yet from support (requested 2 days ago). Getting really depressed about how much money I have wasted. The above comments are all in relation to Garmin and my 775T and nothing to do with GPS City.
Doug February 22, 2010	lose some satelite reception when unable to mount on windshield.the first 775T crashed in 4 days and GPSCITY had a replcement within 3 days and no problems so far with this one
Rob February 17, 2010	I've owned this GPS for about 6 months now and almost every time I input a new address or touch the screen for any reason, it thinks I am touching something else. Like when I want to type in a space, it types the letter P, or when I choose a previously entered address on the top of the screen, it thinks I wanted to choose the one from the bottom of the screen — extremely frustrating. The only reason I didn't return it was because I knew I would be without a GPS for at least 3 weeks. My next GPS will NOT (!) be a Garmin one!
Mike F February 2, 2010	Our 755T is satisfactory or excellent in many ways but to listen thru the radio (for music or audio books) it falls way short. Adjacent FM channels cause interference and it requires almost constant changing of channels. My solution was to buy a mini-jack to cassette adaptor. This affords great quality and doesn't require changing FM stations. Loading custom POI's greatly delays showing of maps at power up.
dvic August 14, 2009	The Nuvi 775t has some advantages over older models but using it in Italy recently was frustrating. It often takes the longer and much more complicated route. We were taken down roads too small for a mid size car while travelling from Rome to Positano....run through a town when there was absolutely no need to leave the main roads. It is easily confused in hillside roads with cutbacks and turns and was often "lost" making our trip very confusing at times. The roads in Italy are difficult to navigate at the best of times, but the NUVI seemed to make it even worse....and all this with the latest Europe maps loaded the day before we left home last month. To top it off, the voice support cannot pronounce Italian street names even close to their proper pronunciation making it virtually useless. It has trouble finding the satellite more than my older model!! In all, best to wait for the next version!!
