| At this price I assume they are reconditioned units. My
unit was $800.00 US and it was not worth it. After a year I
sent it back because it continued to have problems locating
a satellite. Garmin sent me a reconditioned unit that quit
working within a month. On checking the software I noticed
there were so many updates available I could not believe
Garmin would ship a unit out when it was so out of date.
Be careful if purchasing this unit. New software seems to
have helped. | |

| I had one of the original gpsmap units mounted on the dash of my
Ultra. Never had a problem. I kept a clear plastic shower cap (with
the elastic band) handy in case of rain. Never had a problem with
water getting on it. Garmin does make the zumo specifically for bikes.
I played with one in the Garmin store in Chicago this weekend but my
eyes aren't what they used to be and I'm sure digging the big screen
on this one. | |

| Anyone know how the Canadian mapping is? Can you update maps? It says you can't add maps. | |
