I have caught the GPS half way out. Rob, April 30, 2012 This is a solid mount for the Montana. Easy to install and
release and won't come out accidentally. I don't use the
little hold-down screw and special screwdriver (not sure
that this is really necessary or effective as anti-theft as
the whole Ram mount could be easily removed). I bought a
cigarette lighter plug at The Source and installed it on the
power cable so I could move between my ATV and vehicles.
I'm also using this on a Ram ball-type mount. Works very
