This is a great GPS for hunting fishing, geocaching etc.
Rugged, nice size and good on batteries.

I bought this unit when my regular etrex Lengend (non-H model)
started to fail. It is a nice upgrade over the old model with
USB connections and a better receiver. All my old accessories
work with this so I was able to save money on a new case, etc.
You can also upload Geochache coordinates directly from the
website.

Much easier to use than some others. Very strong at
getting satellite signals and keeping them - even in wooded
areas. And the batteries last much longer than others I've
had. So my advice is that if you want to measure how big
your fields or woods are, the Legand H is great. And if
you want to measure the distance from here to there with
altitudes thrown in, again this H is great. And the price
is right in my experience.

We use 12 of these for school orienteering and trail
identification features at a conservation area that sees
around 15 thousand primary and secondary school students
each year. These units are very easy to operate and have
proven to be very durable all purpose units.
