Overall the 62st is a very nice gps, I bought the 62st for a buddy and after trying to hook up the power cord with the gps in the ram mount we felt that there is going to be a high probability that it is going to get broke off. Compare this to the garmin 60c where the power cord has a 90-degree angle in it where it go's into the gps. Overall you can not go wrong with the garmin 62st other than the power cord. This is with the unit in a Ram mount on ATV's.

And lot different than old one. Take bit of use to get use
to. It seems more accurate, has great display, and good on
batteries.

I live and work in one of the most isolated places in
Canada, far from any cell signals or roads. So far, so
good. I haven't used most of the features on this GPS but
am looking forward to the many different options. I just
upgraded from my Garmin Etrex Vista HCX and found it was
very simple to use right out of the box. I loaded my 8 gb
SD micro card with a ton of maps from my Topo Canada CD. I
I haven't used it too much out on the land yet but I'm
looking forward to it. I bought this GPS mostly on the
features and reviews and I am not disappointed. I did buy
the screen protector and rhino mounts for the ATV when the
snow melts. Overall a good purchase. I have bought from
GPS city in the past and will continue to do so in the
future.

This was purchased as a present for my daughter and
following Christmas as a family we used it to go to an Geo
Cash Location that was 4 miles off any road and this unit
for first time user was excellent. The unit is easy to use
and we were impressed by the graphic display it provided of
the Terrian we cover in the Canadian shielded. The locking
in of our start location also enabled us to use the contour
features to select an different return route to the car.
