LOVE THE TOM TOM, DON'T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT GETTING LOST ANYMORE, AND ITS SO EAST TO USE. THE FIRST TIME WE USED IT WHEN THE INSTRUCTIONS SAID MAKE A LEFT TURN WE WERE AT A ROAD WRIGHT THAN SO WE TURNED TO SOON NOT REALIZING IT WAS A MAN MADE ROAD FOR CONSTRUCTION WE WENT ABOUT 50 FEET AND INSTRUCTIONS SAID MAKE AN IMMEDIATE U-TURN SO WE DID AS SOON AS WE HAD A CHANCE. WE WERE IN TORONTO HEADING OUT TO COLOMBUS OHIO WE WERE USING OUR SONS GPS, HE HAD PROGRAMED IT FOR US. WHEN WE ARRIVED IN OHIO IT WAS DARK AND IN THE TOWN THAT WE WEE IN THERE WERE HARDLY ANY STREET LIGHTS, BUT THAT WAS OKAY THE GPS TOOK US WRIGHT TO THE DOOR WITH A " YOU HAVE REACHED YOUR DESTINATION " THANK GOD WE HAD IT AND MADE IT THERE AND BACK IN A BREEZE. .WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT FOR SENIORS LIKE US THEY WILL NEVER HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT GETTING LOST AGAIN OR HAVING TO ASK FOR DIRECTIONS. WHEN PURCHASING THE THREE TOM TOM ONE XLS FOR THE FAMILY WE FOUND THEM TO BE A VERY RELIABLE PRODUCT GOOD PRICE,GREAT FUNCTIONS AND EASY TO USE.WE DON'T GO ANY WHERE WITHOUT NO MATTER HOW NEAR OR FAR SO WE KEEP ON TOP OF USING IT. IT'S AN EXCELLENT GPS.

TOMTOM XLS GPS
My first GPS and it does what it says I don't need the fancy stuff like mp3 or movies ....just gps Seems to be very accurate and features are all very useful....map update are very easy to do and at no cost that is a big plus ( GPS CITY great company fast shipping and very reasonable pricing)

EASY TO LEARN
Quickly gets a fix on your position, menus are very easy to use. Accuracy is quite good when using it to navigate. If you are using it to see where you are (not using navigation) my position has been off by as much as one city block. The unit I have came preloaded with Canada & US street maps. Even after updating via TOMTOM website the maps in my area (central Alberta) are at least a couple of years out of date. I have a Garmin unit and maps on it are much more current and detail in rural areas is much better. Suction cup in box is also not effective. Will not stick to windshield in cold weather for more than a few minutes. Recommend getting RAM mount.
