The RAM POD III is the latest in the Mobile In-Car RAM Mounting Systems. This universal base allows you to mount a laptop or any other in car device safely and securely.
RAM-POD LEG LENGTHS:
Length of Leg 1: 18 inches
Length of Leg 2: 20 inches
Length of Leg 3: 30 inches
OWNERS MANUAL:
Take a look at the assembly instructions (pdf file) of the RAM POD III (RAM-316-1A).
MOUNTING METHOD:
At right angles to the base of two legs are feet with mounting holes. Simply place the holes into the passenger seat mounting bolts and adjust the mount to the required height with the flexible legs. The third flexible leg on the RAM Pod III should also be adjusted to help support the mount. The rigid flexible arms will hold everything you need safely and securely.
INCLUDED RAM SINGLE BALL/SOCKET ARM:
Included with this mount is double 2.5 inch diameter Plate Arm Assembly. The 1.5 inch diameter ball and socket assembly consists of a 4.63 inch long double 1.5 inch diameter socket arm and two (2) round plates with 1.5'' diameter rubber ball.
One 2.5'' diameter plate connects to the top of the RAM-POD III (RAM-316-3A). The other 2.5 inch diameter round plate connects to many different cradles and devices, including the RAM-234-3 Clamping Laptop tray.
Note: This part is the same as RAM part number RAM-316-3-202U.
