The RAM-SB-178-UN1 Universal Small Cradle Adhesive RAM Mount is a High Strength Plastic Composite Mount with a PDA Adhesive Base and RAM Custom Plastic Cradle. The mount is designed with a RAM Snap-Link friction ball and socket system that has one adjustment point in the middle of the mount. Once the adhesive base is securely mounted, you can move the Universal Small Side Clamping Cradle to your optimum viewing position with a simple twist of the mount joint.
Note: This mount does not require any drilling for installation.
Universal Mount Cradle Design:
 The RAM-HOL-UN1 Small RAM Plastic Side Clamping Cradle is designed to hold a large amount of different kinds of cell phones and electronic devices.
Using the Cradle:
This cradle has padded locking side clamps that close tightly on the item you want to hold. To release the clamp hold, simply press the button found at the bottom left side of the cradle which will spring the clamps open. At the base of the cradle are two small supports to hold the bottom of the item securely in the cradle. This RAM universal side clamping cradle is designed to be used in a closed cabin, low vibration environment. This system is not recommended as a motorcycle mount.

NOTE: The top of the cradle is open, so the items in the cradle can be larger than the height of the cradle.
Universal Mount Arm Design:
 The RAP-SB-192 RAM Mount High Strength Plastic Composite Assembly is a 0.5 inch diameter plastic ball and socket snap-link friction grip system with diamond plate ends. One end of the assembly connects to the back of the cradle, and the other to the diamond plate on the mount base. The snap-link friction grip system relys on the screw tightened socket to grip the solid plastic ball. This ball and socket system should only be used in a low vibration application.
Universal Mount Base Design:
 The RAP-273 RAM Mount High Strength Plastic Adhesive Mount Base is designed to have a semi-permanent hold on a flat or curved surface, like a car dash or car windshield. The mounting base consists of a 2.5 inch diameter flexible base with a RAM Mount RAM-202PSA Adhesive PSA (Pressure Sensitive Adhesive) Disk.

My fourth purchase from gpscity. Previous 3 went great and I expect this one will as well. I do feel rather sheepish though. This last week I've been combing the net for a golf GPS.
