The RAM-B-149-234-6 Universal Tough Tray II Rail RAM Mount is a Marine Grade Aluminum Mount with a Stainless Steel U-Bolt Rail Base and Universal Small Laptop and Tablet Cradle. The mount is designed with a RAM 1 inch diameter patented rubber ball and socket system that has adjustment point at the cradle and base. With a twist of the arm knob, you can move the Tough Tray II Series mount to your optimum viewing position.

 The RAM Mount Tough Tray II is the ultimate mounting solution for the Apple iPad. The spring loaded tray holds the iPad perfectly while allowing a quick and easy release. With adjustable flat side retaining arms you can obtain a customized hold on the iPad by keeping all ports exposed for use. Tough Tray II Mount Cradle Design:
 The RAM-234-6 universal netbook laptop and tablet Tough Tray II cradle is designed to hold a large amount of different kinds of netbooks, small laptops, tablets, Apple iPad, DVD players and other similarly shaped devices. The RAM Tough Tray II is a spring loaded expandable tray which includes four (4) flat side clamping retaining arms and four (4) standard retaining arms. These arms can be moved both vertically and horizontally. This allows for a custom fit for varying thicknesses of electronic devices and the freedom of not blocking ports or drives.
Netbook/Laptop Mount Tough Tray II Dimensions:

Tough Tray II Mount Cradle Plate:
 The RAM-B-202 RAM Mount Marine Grade Aluminum Round Plate is designed to connected to the back of cradles with an AMPS hole pattern. The round plate has a 1.0 inch diameter rubber ball connected at right angles to the plate, which connects directly to the 1 inch arm socket. The cradle includes the required hardware to connect the plate to the cradle. Tough Tray II Mount Arm Design:
 The RAM-B-201 RAM Mount Marine Grade Aluminum Dual Socket Arm is a 1 inch B size Ball Socket Arm with open socket ends. The arm is 3.0 inches long between socket centers and is finished with a Black Powder Coating. The side of the arm includes a tightening knob which allows you to open and close the socket ends. Tough Tray II Mount Base Design:
 The RAM-B-231 RAM Mount Powder Coated Marine Grade Aluminum Rail Base has a 1.0 inch diameter Rubber Ball designed to sit at right angles to the mounting rail. The Stainless Steel U-Bolt and nuts included are designed it fit on most motorcycle round handlebars, or any circular rail or pipe with diameter from 3/4 to 1.0 inch.
To mount the rail base, place the top of the base on the rail and then slide the u-bolt around the rail, into the holes in the base top. Now tighten the screws onto the u-bolt until the base is clamped firmly. If you desire, you can now slot the black rubber covers over the exposed ends of the u-bolt.
NOTE: This base is completely rust proof.
For Larger Rail Mounting:
For a larger rail, you can purchase the RAM Mount Stainless Steel Large Rail U-Bolt for circular rails with diameter up to 1.25 inches.
