GREAT MOUNT
Pros: works with via 1505 tomtom
I have via 1505. Measured and compared to find a mount. This was about as close to perfect as you could get. Needed to remove one corner to fit to on/off button of 1505 but it did not comprise holding power.

TOMTOM XXL 500 CRADLE RAM-HOL-TO10U
Pros: easy installation easy on & off.
Cons: no anti-glare shield for motorcycle use
My 540 fit perfectly in the cradle bolts up to the RAM-B- 180U perfectly. Far more secure than the OEM mount. If this cradle had a 3" anti-glare shield cast into the factory mold, it would be awesome. Daytime use during motorcycle riding for GPS navigation is very poor. This needs an anti- glare shield.

EXCELLENT SUPPORT FOR A TOMTOM XXL 500 SERIES GPS
Pros: secure, solid fit that you can count on!
Cons: none, better if it had a sun visor of sorts.
This mount fit like a glove to my TomTom XXL 540 GPS. I bought this for my motorcycle. It holds my GPS securely even over rough terrain and speed bumps. The automotive mount that comes with the XXL 540 is too weak even for the car and the GPS will pop out occasionally, but this mount holds securely. At first it felt too tight and difficult to remove the GPS, but after you figure it out, it is just right. There is a space just above the clip to pull the GPS while you press the clip to remove the GPS easily. This is worth every penny.

RAM MOUNT
I have been trying to buy a mount to install my GPS on a motorcycle. I found nothing but junk out there until I ran into you guys. This mount is perfect and at a good price. Could use a sun shade.

BEST GPS GEAR MOUNTING CRADLES
Pros: affordable and very versitile
great mount very secure hold on my Tomtom GPS unit and with the various mounting accessories/options make it easly transport it between vehicles bikes and atv

RAM MOUNT TOM TOM XXL 500 CRADLE
Pros: easy fit and mount
Cons: needs extended edges for sun block.
I just used the mount and cradle on a 1600 mile trip, The only thing I would change would be to have edges that extend out to block out sunlight. I'm using this on a motorcycle and did not want to buy an expensive GPS for the few trips I'm currently taking.
I had a couple of bumps that did not affect the performance of this item and overall, I would recommend it to anyone needing an inexpensive mount for riders like me.
Also,the removal of the mount for times when I was away from the bike took seconds to accomplish.

RAM MOUNT CRADLE FOR TOMTOM
Pros: nothing but good things to say here!
Cons: none.
Perfect fit for my TomTom XXL 540M.
I have it mounted on my Harley Davidson Ultra Classic via the RAM-B-238U Diamond Plate 1 inch Ball, RAM-B-201U-A Short Arm B-Socket and Brake/Clutch Master Cylinder Reservoir U-Bolt Mount.
For bad weather conditions I use the RAM-B-174-AQ6U Waterproof Aqua Box, which came with the Motorcycle Brake/Clutch Master Cylinder Reservoir U-Bolt Mount.

WORKED PERFECT

Holds GPS tightly and securely, with a slight modification I was able to adapt it to a non Ram Mount easily. Great product and great service fron GPSCITY.COM
I will use them again!!!!!
