This setup was made possible through the purchase of a TomTom GPS ram mount and a compatible tri-magnetic base from GPScity. Before placing my order I was afraid the magnets would not be strong enough to hold the rather heavy TomTom Go 510 in place, but after receiving the product I found that the quality magnetic base keeps my GPS securely in place over any ordinary bumps on the road and is also extremely portable.
