Manufacturer Description |
The RAM-B-121-TD1 TDS Recon PDA RAM Mount is a Marine Grade Aluminum Mount with a Yoke Clamp Base and RAM Plastic Cradle for the TDS Recon PDA. The mount is designed with a 1 inch diameter RAM ball and socket system that has adjustment point at the cradle and base. With a twist of the arm knob, you can move the TDS Recon PDA mount to your optimum viewing position.
TDS Recon PDA Mount Cradle Design: The RAM-HOL-TD1 RAM Mount High Strength Plastic Cradle is designed to hold the following TDS PDA units,
The back of the cradle is connected to a round plate with ball. The ball gives the cradle the ability to connect to the RAM arm on this mount and also creates a ball and socket joint allowing you to move the cradle into many different viewing locations. All cables can stay connected to the TDS Ranger while in the RAM cradle.
TDS Recon PDA Mount Arm Design:
The RAM-B-201 RAM Mount Marine Grade Aluminum Dual Socket Arm is a 1 inch B size Ball Socket Arm with open socket ends. The arm is 3.0 inches long between socket centers and is finished with a Black Powder Coating. The side of the arm includes a tightening knob which allows you to open and close the socket ends. For a layout of the dimensions RAM-B-201 arm, take a closer look with the RAM-B-201 Design Drawings (pdf file).
TDS Recon PDA Mount Base Design:
The RAM-B-121B RAM Mount Powder Coated Marine Grade Aluminum Yoke Clamp Mount Base fits a rail diameter from 5/8 inch to a maximum of 1 1/4 inches. The 1 inch rubber ball is at a right angle to the plane of the mount so when connected to a rail, the ball sits parallel to the rail. To mount the base, simply place the yoke clamps around the rail and then screw the large knob at the end of the threaded rod. The hand tightened clamp makes this the perfect mounting system for rental planes and unusual shaped motorbike rails.
NOTE: The rail does not need to be perfectly round to mount this base.
TDS Recon PDA Mount Options: To help ensure you have the TDS Recon Mount you require, take a look at the list of available RAM TDS PDA mounts on the TDS Recon Mount List Page. Here you can select from pole/rail TDS mounts, suction cup TDS mounts, flat surface screw down TDS mounts and more bundled with the TDS Recon Cradle.

I enjoy it thoroughly every time, dealing with GPS City has been the best on-line shopping experience ever, it just does not get any better Cornelius K. AB, May 21/12 |

My fourth purchase from gpscity. Previous 3 went great and I expect this one will as well. I do feel rather sheepish though. This last week I've been combing the net for a golf GPS. For some reason this evening the lights went on - gpscity. Thank goodness I remembered you folks. I'll never know what took so long though. Anyway, I got to you and I feel much better now. :) Don Donald L. ON, May 11/12 |
nice web site, good layout-good pricing compared to US suppliers Steven S. BC, May 4/12 |
Good information on the units. I am upgrading from my original Garmin 301. 8 years, it was time! I think this is my 5th GPS from your company, good prices, fast delivery no complaints! James L. ON, May 3/12 |
