BUTTOM MOUNT ADAPTER
Pros: easy to use, very economical solution Cons: none
This mount is great to convert the standard golf GPS button cradle mount to work with any RAM mounting system. Much less expensive and easier to use than buying the custom cradle.

GOOD MOUNT FOR GPS IN THE CAR
Pros: fast and easy to use Cons: be gentle with release clip, looks thin,
I purchased this mount for my garmin 62s handheld gps for when I am goecaching. I bought it with the Garmin retractable lanyard and the G5 belt clip.
It is the perfect Trio. Go from the car to the trail worry free in seconds! Hands free in the car. Its nice to have the same mount as the belt so there in no removing of the clip to get it to mount in the car. and its nice that it swivels so that if you bump into it while driving - steering or whatever it just swivels out of your way. Like I was saying, from the car to the trail, unclip from car and clip it to your belt with lanyard attached and you never have to worry about loosing you gps. Great combination!

RAM MOUNT STANDARD BELT CLIP W/DIAMOND PLATE
Pros: heavy duty plastic used in the body Cons: the weak latch needs to have a piece of reinforce
The reason I would give this item poor is the fact the the latch that inserts into the belt button release clip became weak and does not lock the gps in place after two uses on a golf course. hit a bump and the gps flies out.

RAM MOUNT
Pros: quick shipping, am mount system Cons: none
Very fast shipping from Expressmounts! This item works great with my Sonocaddy V300 on my push cart. I had the rest of the Ram mount system already for a previous GPS, and this aloows the use of the Sonocaddy. It holds the V300 securily and allows me to move it around for the best veiwing!

GREAT OPTION
Pros: works with garmin belt clip mounts fast Cons: release tab isn't likely to last.
I bought this along with a Garmin Colorado Oregon Approach G5 Belt Clip (010-11022-10) and the two work together beautifully. I decided on this configuration after reading the reviews and looking at the ram mount for the Garmin GPSMAP 62 and agree that it isn't well thought out as a car mount. This attached quickly to my diamond plate and was ready to go in less than five minutes. I will agree with others that the release is a really flimsy piece and will probably break sooner, than later. Should have looked at a RAM Mount Beefy Belt Clip (RAP-271-STU).

NICE MOUNT
Pros: ease of use Cons: no ratcheting system to hold in position (spin)
I bought two of these and have had them for about a month. I am experiencing no problems whatsoever. My only comment would be that the Bodyglove phone cover with a similar belt clip has a ratcheted locking system that allows item to move but locks position. This system allows quite a bit of spin. I put the soft side of adhesive velcro on each side of the slot and it firmed it up. The best thing is I can take from my belt, mount in my car or motorcycle seamlessly. A very nice system if you have one on belt and where you use it.

THANKS
Pros: it works
For the longest time I tried to get a temp mount from SkyCaddie and they kept saying they had nothing available because it was a new model gps. Thank you for having the solution to my problem.

SO FAR SO GOOD
I've been using this as an inexpensive alternate for converting a golf gps system to an existing ram mount I had. It's definately cheaper this way. So far it's working well. I could see that the release tab could be vulnerable to breaking if you aren't carefull or try to get a little rough with it.
It is performing as advertised and seems to be pretty secure once the device button has clipped in. So for now I'll give it a 4 as it works as promised. I'd give it a 5 if I'd been using it longer than 1 month.
P.S. I've been using it on my temporary mount that switches from my golf push cart to a riding cart. It's been secure in both applications. No falling out or any problems.

NEEDS TO BE BEEFED UP
Pros: relatively inexpensive Cons: needs to be redesigned for strength
Mine broke the little tab that releases the button. Now if I want to remove my GPS from the holder I must have either a screw driver or pocket knife to push the locking tab in from the top. Needless to say I will now carry a spare....

RAM MOUNT
Pros: very convenient Cons: short product life.
This is my 2nd mount in a year. The little tip that holds the GPS in place wears and then will not hold.
