KAYAK ROD HOLDER
Pros: easy to mount, fits spin rods well, fly rod?? yet
Cons: does not include mounting screws, not mentioned
Nice unit. A bit bigger than thought it would be but well built. Units had sharp burs on them from the moulds which were not removed at the factory and needed to be filed of smooth.
Item should be listed as not including mounting hardware. Also be nice if it had a seal for under the ball mount. Overall a great item. The only hard part was figuring out where to mount it so not to be in the way when paddling.
Recommend? YES

VERSATILE ROD HOLDER
Pros: unlimited adjustment, strong, versatile
Cons: none except the base issue.
This RAM mount design really shows the quality in the RAM rod holders. The base is easier to install and do not get in the way when the holder is removed and stored. Extended height is a plus!!
The base sent with the rod holders were round but were shown on the website as rectangular. I contacted Express Mounts and they will be sending me replacement (rectangular) bases. Great customer service!!

WORKS GREAT
Cons: none at this time
I bought the whole system...2 rod holders, GPS mount, fishfinder mount, and the multi mount platform...all for my kayak. No problems at all. Company was great and the product!
