Manufacturer Description |
The Vehicle Mount RAM POD III is the latest in the Mobile In-Car Mounts range from RAM. This universal base allows you to mount a laptop or any other in car device safely and securely. Included with this base is the RAM-POD Post with Round Base (RAM-316-T). The post allows you to mount the swing arm system to the RAM-POD 3.
RAM-POD Leg Lengths:
- Length of Leg 1: 18 inches
- Length of Leg 2: 20 inches
- Length of Leg 3: 31 inches
Owners Manual:
Take a look at the assembly instructions (pdf file) of the RAM POD III (RAM-316-1A).
Mounting Method:
At right angles to the base of two legs are feet with mounting holes. Simply place the holes into the passenger seat mounting bolts and adjust the mount to the required height with the flexible legs. The third flexible leg on the RAM Pod III should also be adjusted to help support the mount. The rigid flexible arms will hold everything you need safely and securely.
Required Support:
The RAM Pod III with Post is only a Mounting Base. This means a RAM swing arm must be connected to the post.

My fourth purchase from gpscity. Previous 3 went great and I expect this one will as well. I do feel rather sheepish though. This last week I've been combing the net for a golf GPS.
