GPS CITY RAM MOUNTS ON SPYDERS

Ram Mounts can be used on Can-Am Spyders for a real variety of accessories. Here's just a couple of the things we do with them, and no place better to buy them fast than GPS City !

RAM MOUNT HTC EVO 4G ON SUZUKI MOTORCYCLE

I recently purchased the RAM-B-186U-A Motorcycle Clamp Short Assembly and RAM-HOL-UN4U Universal Clamping Cradle from GPSCity. The items arrived as expected, and I set about attaching the mount to the handlebar clamps on my 2008 Suzuki SV650 motorcycle.

My phone is the HTC EVO 4G in an OtterBox Impact case. I had to set the finger width of the cradle to the maximum width, and because the OtterBox is already rubbery, I didn't need to install the rubber tips for the cradle fingers or the bottom support. I had to set the top right finger to the middle position of the cradle (see photo) so that it would not press the volume buttons on the phone.

I chose the short arm clamp assembly to keep the mount low-profile and close to the center of the handlebars. Everything mounted well and the phone in the cradle is rock solid!

UNIVERSAL MOUNT FOR MAGELLAN 5120

Recently replaced my Garmin GPS with a Magellan 5120. To my dismay, there is no RAM mount for that model like there was for my Garmin.

With the help of GPS City's great customer service, I was directed to universal RAM-HOL-UN4U mount. It works great and here are the pictures to prove it. (Note the iPod Touch is mounted just below.)

These great accessories make the GoldWing ride even better!!

I have mounted a Garmin Oregon 450 on my CANAM 400 ATV using the RAM mount and holder. I bought the Oregon 450 as it is easier to use than the Etrex Legend HCx. The 450 is all touch screen. I mounted it on the windshield support frame. I did not use the "u" bolt, as I do not have any room left on the handle bars. The 1" ball mount is bolted directly to this frame. It is easier to see and helps to keep my eyes on the trail. See submitted pictures. I recommend the screen protector for the dusty trails, as you may end up scratching your screen. I purchased the 4 G card, as it will hold more information. Downloading the maps from my computer was easy.

The staff at GPS City were great in helping me get exactly what I wanted and even suggested some additional items. They wanted me to be happy with what I ordered and were not just trying to make a sale. I was so impressed that I have passed along their website to all my friends and family, as I know they will get great service.
The last words are: Go out and enjoy the trails and be safe.

DROID ON A KATANA

Greetings, I wanted to be able to use my Moto Droid navigation, listen to music, and take an occasional call while on my motorcycle. I needed something clean looking. centered, sturdy, and I did not want it to turn with the steering. With that in mind I used two RAM diamond balls, a long RAM connecting arm and the universal finger mount. The set up works great. The folks at GPSCity worked with me getting the right parts to make it work. I will be working on the same set up for my wife's motorcycle shortly.

ANDROID MOUNTED IN F350

This is where I put my android whilst driving around in my tow vehicle. It not only can play Pandora audio as pictured, fed through the headphone jack to the aux port on the radio, but it also provides satellite navigation, telephone calls, and the touch interface a short reach away

I found the little loops on the fingers absolutely perfect for holding my cabling in place - the charger and the headphone wire stay put ready to be reinserted when I climb in again.

This is the universal finger cradle mount attached to a normal diamond ball and the windshield suction cup mount.
