GOOD ROD HOLDER
The rod holder is nice. I would never shop ar GPS city again. Got the old bait and switch. My credit card was charged 5$ more than the price we had agreed on. Scumbags

GREAT KAYAK MOUNT
Pros: heavy duty, reliable, secure
Cons: limited range of motion compared to the ball mount
I only use RAM fishing rod mounts for both my kayaks. Heavy duty, durable, and have never failed me. In the past I've loved the ball mounts because the offer endless positioning, but I've picked up a few ROD 2000 for stationary trolling and they work great.

GOOD PRODUCT
I have used this product before as my brother has them. I knew what I was purchasing. The quality is good. I like the added hieght of the rod holder. They should be good for planer boarding.

GREAT SO FAR
Pros: lightweight, strong
This is my first rod holder from Ram. I ordered 2 from here but I have 8 on the boat. It's working fine so far, but summer is just starting. I think that it will end up working out great because Ram makes great mounts.
