This base connects to the 0.5'' flex pipe found on the RAM-B-309-412 and the RAM-B-309-426.
THE RAM-B-309 BASE:
The RAM 309 Clutch/Brake Motorcycle Bases connect to your handlebar clutch/brake clamp, left or right side, and holds one or two 1'' diameter mounting balls. The base fits the control clamps on your motorcycle with 40mm x 6mm stainless steel hardware, provided in the kit.

My fourth purchase from gpscity. Previous 3 went great and I expect this one will as well. I do feel rather sheepish though. This last week I've been combing the net for a golf GPS. For some reason this evening the lights went on - gpscity. Thank goodness I remembered you folks. I'll never know what took so long though. Anyway, I got to you and I feel much better now. :) Don
