The RAP-339U is a Plastic Base Plate Adapter with 3x Magnet Holding Notches. This simple adapter requires a RAM-B-202 or RAM-202 mounting plate. It will not work on it's own.
Once attached, you have a mount that will hold firm to ferrous metals like nothing else. Support any number of items without having to drill any holes to attach your mounting base. Simply put this product near the mounting surface and feel it almost jump out of your hand.
Containing 3 rare earth magnets, you can imagine just how strongly this unique device is drawn to ferrous metals. The plastic adapter designed to conceal the magnets is made of durable plastic to prevent scratching the mounting surface. Ideally suited for many applications, you're sure to find many ways to use your new magnetic mount at work, home, on the go, or at play.
VERY IMPORTANT NOTE:
This mount should NOT be used with any device that has an internal hard drive. The magnet may damage the drive. This includes the Apple iPod and other small battery operated devices.

My fourth purchase from gpscity. Previous 3 went great and I expect this one will as well. I do feel rather sheepish though. This last week I've been combing the net for a golf GPS.
