The RAP-B-166-GA32 Garmin GPSMAP 76Cx, 76CSx, 96 Series Windshield Suction RAM Mount is a High Strength Plastic Composite Mount with a Locking Suction Cup Base and RAM Custom Plastic Cradle. The mount is designed with a RAM 1 inch diameter patented rubber ball and socket system that has adjustment point at the cradle and base. With a twist of the arm knob, you can move the Garmin GPSMAP 76 Color Series mount to your optimum viewing position.
Note: This mount does not require any drilling for installation.
Garmin GPS Mount Options:
 To help ensure you have the Garmin GPSMAP 76C, GPSMAP 76Cx, GPSMAP 76CSx and GPSMAP 96 Series Mount you require, take a look at the list of available RAM Garmin GPS mounts on the RAM-HOL-GA14 Series of Garmin GPSMAP 76C, GPSMAP 76Cx, GPSMAP 76CSx and GPSMAP 96 Cradles and Mounts Page. Here you can select from suction cup GPS mounts, flat surface screw down GPS mounts, GPS car mounts, non skid weighted GPS mounts and more bundled with the RAM-HOL-GA14 Garmin GPSMAP 76C, GPSMAP 76Cx, GPSMAP 76CSx and GPSMAP 96 Series Cradle.
Garmin GPS Mount Cradle Design:
The RAM-HOL-GA14 Garmin GPSMAP 76C and GPSMAP 96 Series RAM Mount Cradle is a High Strength Plastic Composite Cradle designed specifically to hold the Garmin GPSMAP 76C and GPSMAP 96 Series, including the following GPS units,
- Garmin GPSMAP 76Cx
- Garmin GPSMAP 76CSx
- Garmin GPSMAP 76C
- Garmin GPSMAP 76CS
- Garmin GPSMAP 96
- Garmin GPSMAP 96C
All cables can stay connected to the unit while in the RAM cradle.
The Garmin GPS 72, GPS 76, GPSMAP 76 and GPSMAP 76S WILL NOT fit this cradle. These units require the RAM-HOL-GA6 cradle.
Garmin GPS Mount Cradle Plate: The RAP-B-238 RAM Mount High Strength Plastic Composite Diamond Plate is designed to connected to the back of the mount cradle. The diamond plate has a 1.0 inch diameter rubber ball connected at right angles to the plate, which connects directly to the 1 inch arm socket. The cradle includes the required hardware to connect the plate to the cradle. For a layout of the hole spacing and 1.0 inch rubber ball location, take a closer look with the RAM-B-238 Design Drawings (pdf file) (Note: the Plastic RAP-B-238 Plate is thicker than the RAM-B-238 Design Drawings shown).
Garmin GPS Mount Arm Design:  The RAP-B-201 RAM Mount Dual Socket Arm is a 1 inch B size Ball Dual Socket Arm made of High Strength Plastic. The arm is 3.0 inches long between socket centers. The side of the arm includes a tightening knob which allows you to open and close the socket ends. Garmin GPS Mount Base Design:  The RAP-B-224-1 RAM Mount High Strength Plastic Locking 3.25 inch diameter Rubber Suction Cup Base is designed to have an extra strong hold on any smooth non-porous surface. With a twist on the locking knob, the suction cup base adheres to any glass¹ or non-porous plastic surface, as found on our Non Skid Base with Plastic Disk and Plastic Adhesive Disk.
Connected to the top of the Suction Cup is a RAP-B-238 RAM Mount High Strength Plastic Diamond Plate with 1 inch diameter Rubber Ball. This plate allows the suction cup to join to an open socket found on the RAM 1 inch diameter socket arms.

Suction Cup Base Mounting Options:We currently offer three alternative solutions for mounting your suction cup mount in a location other than a windshield:
 The Non Skid Base with round plastic plate, is a weighted base that can be placed on your dash without an adhesive or drilling. Simply place the base on your dash, or any flat surface and then attach the suction cup to the round plastic plate. This is perfect when you want a temporary mounting solution but the windshield mount just isn't the answer.
 The Suction Cup Adhesive Disk with round plastic plate, is a great mounting surface to attach the RAM Twist Lock Suction Cup. Simply stick the the plate to any flat surface and then attach the suction cup to the plate. This is perfect when you need to attach your suction cup mount to your car dash vertically or horizontally, rather than to your windshield.
 The Suction Cup Drink Cup Holder with round plastic plate, is a great mounting surface to attach the RAM Twist Lock Suction Cup. Simply place the base into any cup holder in your vehicle and then attach the suction cup to the plate found on top. This is perfect when you need to attach your suction cup mount away from the windshield or when you just want the mount off the dash.
