Pros: easy to use
Cons: weak base for long extensions

RAM BASE CLAMP
Pros: good idea and pretty to look at
Cons: poor quality, keeps breaking
This base clamp fits the skycaddie gps range finder...clamps onto the golf cart...working on my third clamp in 5 1/2 months. The base clamp keeps snapping in two because of poor quality materials. Should be made of titanium...lifetime waranty? Forget it, RAM won't even respond back to complaints...

Nice product but would be much more durable if made from metal rather than plastic. This was purchased to replace one that had slip in half becuase it is made of plastic.
