IT'S BIG
I bought this to mount a tablet to the yoke of a Piper Archer but it's just too large. I ended up using a piece of 1/8 aluminum plate with velcro to hold the tablet.

WORKS WELL
Pros: lightweight, inexpensive, works. Cons: none
Easy to assemble, spring tension controls the width of tablet you can install. Prongs have plastic coating so as not to scratch your tablet.
We've purchased approximatly 50 units to date with no issues.

Cons: have not found any
Very handy gadget, was concerned that some said it would leave marks on the edges of equipment, I think they failed to follow direction and did not use the rubber boots, needless to say my asus transformer has no marks, the hold is tight and no fear of it slipping out. A truly great product that is expandable to fit many sizes.
Shipping was amazing fast hassle free, instillation even easier.

GREAT NETBOOK MOUNTING SOLUTION
Pros: good selection of latches for various size laptops Cons: you have to assemble it yourself
I purchased this to mount a netbook on a Ram Seat-Mate. This mount works nicely for that size of a computer. I don't think I'd use it for anything much larger, though I may be testing it with larger laptops later.
Definitely a good buy to hold your Netbook from moving in a vehicle.

IPAD MOUNT THAT CAN BE USED WITH OTTERBOX DEFENDER
Using this with the Seat Clamp Mount with Round Plate RAM-B- 316-121B-202U. I decided to go with this one instead of the mount designed for the iPad because I need to protect the Ipad device in the Otterbox Defender Case while it is attached and mounted to my daughter's wheelchair. It is a little awkard to use at first because you have to sort of customize it using the parts given so that it will work for your purpose. I have been using it for a few weeks and have not had any problems and it holds the device very securely. I realize that most people want to have their iPad look and feel as sleek and portable as possbile, this was not the case for me, so this product works great.

GREAT IDEA, BUT SOME ISSUES
I love Ram Mounts, but this one is a little bit wonky. I use it for my Lenovo S10-3T in my truck. It works well as a generic mount (as opposed to a custom mount specifically for my netbook), but it's a little bit annoying getting the tablet in and out. I use it vertically, not horizontally like it was designed to be used (the computer is in tablet mode, so there is no keyboard showing). The metal clasps have already scratched my netbook after only a few times of using it. I switched to using the plastic-like angled tabs which are move forgiving, but stick out a bit. You have the option of using one or two springs to determine the length that the arm pulls out, which also determines how much tension is there. Two springs was too tight and one spring is designed for a larger computer and was too loose. I ended up cutting the second spring down in size to get the perfect amount of tension.
Overall, it's workable and much better than other solutions out there, but it's not the killer product I was hoping for.

EXCELLENT NETBOOK MOUNT
Pros: fully customizable to fit any laptop or netbook. Cons: would prefer two extension arms or add guide rods.
I have an ASUS Eee pc which I use everyday in my semi truck, this thing has gone over potholes, Philadelphia roads and train tracks without even twitching yet the netbook can be removed in seconds, I would like to see two extension arms on the tray but I made two guide rods for either side of the extension bar, wasn't required but it added more stability which I like!

NETBOOK MOUNT IN MOTORHOME
Pros: easy installation. solid mount.
I recently purchased this mount to use with a netbook attached to the console area in a motorhome. I'm using it with Silverleaf Electronics VMSpc program to monitor the engine and transmissions functions. The mount works great for the netbook. I would recommend it to anyone for use in a similar application.

GREAT LAPTOP MOUNT FOR NETBOOK ON FORKLIFT
Pros: sturdy, ridged, adjustable, easy to install Cons: no shock load absorbing
we are using this mounting system to mount asus and acer netbooks onto our forklifts in our production mill. These mounts are very sturdy even when the lifts go over our very rough and uneven concrete floor. We added some rubber to absorb the some of the shock.

GOOD
Pros: easy to setup Cons: not wide enough for my netbook.
Very sturdy. Only concern is for my particular netbook computer the tray was not wide enough. Was able to work around this minor problem.

WELL MADE
Pros: nicely made
The Tough Tray II fits nicely in my 1994 Toyota Land Cruiser allowing access to all vehicle controls as well as the netbook. I had to grind down two of the hold down tabs as they overlapped and depressed keys on the keyboard. I also would have liked to see two extension slides for greater stability.

RAM-234-6
Pros: holds device securely Cons: spring was missing. spring assembly is challenging
We used the Ram 234-6 to mount a Dell netbook to a fork lift. It works great. Very secure even when driving the fork truck on rough surfaces.

BEWARE IF YOU HAVE A EXTENDED BATTERY
I have an MSI netbook with the extended battery. This makes the netbook slope, which is great for typing but not so great for this mount. The L shapped clips that hold it down only worked at the front of the unit, not the rear. I had to find an alternate method of keeping the unit secured. This is a nice tray and works well, after I modified it.

FUJITSU U820/U2010
This mount doesn't fit for both Fujitsu U820 and U810. It is way too big. RAM Mount sell another model for U810, but no U820 available. Don't buy this one if you have U820.

A GOOD MOUNT
Pros: easy to get device in & out of Cons: device can slide "up"
The product securely holds the ASUS netbooks we are using it in 3 of 4 directions, however it can slide "up" if jarred hard enough. For most applications this will never be an issue, but we ours it created a small one that we were able to work around. We now use them daily for data logging on motorcycles and are quite pleased.

RAM MOUNT TOUGH TRAYII NETBOOK
Pros: works fairly well Cons: metal into plastic clips are loose.
This little unit will support the new generation of netbooks, such as my 8.9" netbook, I like to use for navigating. Fairly easy to assemble, however the clips that support the netbook need to be redesigned and coverd in plastic to prevent marking the top of the computer. The metal clips do not clip securely into the plastic sliders on the side. Can be modified to work.
