GREAT QUALITY

I use this in conjunction with the Rino cradle and it works wonderfully. I use it on my both my snowmobile and ATV and it stays perfectly. I've just installed it, but it works as well as my boat mount I'm sure it'll be fine.

WELL MADE AND FUNCTIONAL
I got this arm for a GPS handlebar mount on a motorcycle. It is very well made and does the job, but I wound up getting the shorter version later to keep things more compact.

SPRING FELL OUT ON FIRST USE
Pros: longer extensions allow for greater camera views
Cons: fell apart, needs longer bolt
The spring fell out of the arm assembly on the one that comes with a spring to keep one side open and the other shut as you loosen it. I might have this part confused with the next size up. Whichever one it is, the spring loaded one was a mess once the spring came out and rolled down the highway. It's still usable, but with much pain. The tightening bolt is too short and the entire piece comes apart before you can get it off even one of the balls, unless you're very careful. Nice idea, but deficient in execution.

used in conjuction with 1.75 lond double 1 inch ball arm to extend the motercycle mount for a garmin GPSMAP 78S. This was attached to my seadoo. Worked wonderfully. Doesn't move even when jumping waves.

GREAT PRODUCT
Pros: great unit.
I used this Arm to replace a broken one on another RAM Mount that our Dept. purchased a couple of years ago for our SPOT Units. The older mount was plastic and the Arm didn't hold up, but this new unit, the Aluminum Arm, will never break from normal use.

ARTICULATING MOUNTING ARM
Pros: robust, functional, versatile.
Cons: not pretty but it works.
This is probably not the most elegant looking mounting system but it is highly functional, strong, gives you lots of flexibility for mounting and can be used with lots of optional attachments.
Also, it bears mentioning that you can buy these components cheaper at Express Mounts that you can buying them directly from RAM or just about any other internet vendor.

PERFECT FOR THE GARMIN 1370T
Works great and almost what I wanted but not at the fault of GPScity.com or the Ram mount arm itself. I figured the 3" arm would work for me but come to find out the 6" arm would have worked out much better. My fault and I'll know better next time. Can't really see the GPS over my tank bag on my Honda VFR

This 5 inch extension gave me some mounting options for the iPad. The standard mount is approx a 3 inch arm. This can also be an aid for other units I have in our airplane and I am glad I got this from GPS City.

GREAT ARM.
Pros: good range of movement, stays put when tightened.
Cons: none yet.
Purchased this arm along with a diamond plate (RAM-B-238U) which mates to the back of my Cradle (RAM-HOL-GA25U) and a B-Ball (RAM-B-337U) which I mounted on a homemade plate between the bars of my ST1300. This arm is the perfect length and gives me enough flexibility to put the GPS where I want it. Once secured it stays put all day long, if adjustment is required, say for sun glare, its quick and easy. Very happy with this setup.

Mount holds like a charm and it's super tough, I used it to mount my GPS to a 2009 Yamaha FX Cruiser SHO. 60mph on rough water... no problem!!

STRONG ARM
This is a great product. I read some reviews of some of the plastic parts and didn't think that was the way to go, so I got this one, which is metal, and I love it. I'm using it on a video rig that I built. I use it to hold different things for different shoots and it does a great job. I probably could have bought the smaller half-inch size and had plenty of gripping power. I'm very pleased. I will be buying another soon for the other side of my rig. I love the fact that the spring causes one side to still kind-of grip the ball while the other is completely loose. I soon realized this and flipped the arm so that the ball I most need to adjust was on the looser end. Of course, when you tighten this, both ends grip tight.

INVINCIBLE
Very secure and solid mount, stays put when properly tightened. Just orient the open end towards the ball that will be staying in place, and unscrew just enough to release. Unscrewing it too much can result in separation of the parts.

I needed an extra mount for my intercom, as I already have a GPS and Camera mount. The first two work great and so does this one. It is the right height and allows enough adjustment to position, just tighten the plastic wing nut and it stays there.

MEDIUM ARM B-SOCKET
I use the Medium Arm B-socket for most installations. Unless space requires using a short arm, or a longer arm, the Medium Arm gives enough versatility for movement for elevation, side-to-side adjustment, and tilt to suit the situation. It is the most frequently used arm I use in fabricating mobile installations, and has been used in my own personal permanent radio shack installations.

opt for the metal extension for heavy duty use as the composite one may break. Excellent item does the job holding gps in place on both motorcycle and boat. Water can get rough but this unit will hold everything in place.

FISH FINDER MOUNTING
Pros: very versatile
I used the mount to attach a Humminbird fish finder on my boat. The RAM kit is very sturdy and I look forward to utilizing it for many years. It looks great and gives me the ability to adjust the screen in nearly any imaginable position.

TOM TOM MOUNT FOR HONDA GL1800
You have to order both the Motorcycle Base and the Ram Mount. The web site does not tell you this and therefore I had two orders along with the two S&H fees and the two Insurance fees. The add ons cost more then the items. Otherwise there was good service and good product.
