VERY STURDY, WISH IT HAD A SUNSHADE
Pros: sturdy
Cons: no locking, no sunshade
Nothing is going to jar your GPS loose from this thing. I have it on my motorcycle and it is rock solid. I wish it had a sunshade accessory though because it is hard to see the gps. Ive seen some other brands of mounts have sunshades on them and in retrospect i may have reconsidered this purchase but i will live with it because it still works well.

RECENT PURCHASE
Pros: works well
Cons: need additional purchase
The cradle is very nice and fits very snuggly to the device. unfortunately it is not compatiable with the mounting system that comes with the device and you MUST purchase a different mounting system in order for it to work. They should sell it altogether .

GREAT CRADLE FOR MAESTRO
Pros: very secure
Cons: hard to get gps out (but worth it for security)
My Magellan Maestro locks in better in this cradle.This is more secure than Magellan's cradle provided with GPS. There is no way GPS will fall out of this unit.

FITS PERFECTLY
excellent mount for the maestro 4250. I had to grind off the back mounting section to fit my car, but it worked perfectly.
