NICE INEXPENSIVE BIKE MOUNT
I don't take my bike off road but for what I have ridden the mount is sturdy. The part that mounts to the handlebars was too big. I had some black electrical tape and just kept going around the handlebars until it was thick enough for the bar mount. It works and didn't break the bank, what more could you ask for?

MAGELLAN EXPLORIST SERIES BIKE RAIL MOUNT
Pros: light weight
Cons: complex assembly process
I have not ridden a bicycle using the mount, though I did mount it on a bicycle. It seems to have a good grip on the GPS.
The assembly process seemed complicated (for two plastic pieces) and the bar clamp portion of the mount is difficult to expand around a handlebar. All the time I worked to get it on, I was afraid that it would break.
Recommend? NO OPINION

STURDY, EASY TO INSTALL
Great mount. It was easy to install and despite my trepidations, this thing really holds onto the GPS (I use to explorist 300). It would take some serious unwanted force to remove the GPS by accident. I give this product a 4 out of 5. The only thing that I don't like about it is the inability to rotate vertically on the fly. Although, being as static as it is does add to its toughness.
Recommend? YES

FITS EXPLORIST 210 GREAT, TAPERED BAR NOT SO MUCH
Pros: fits the explorist perfectly. appears well made.
Cons: won't hold tapered tubing.
Fits the Explorist perfectly.
I could not get the rail mounting to work on the tapered tubing of my bike's handle bars. Tried layering electrical tape but, that just made a mess. (Trying the zip-tie mounting next)
Recommend? NO OPINION
