STRONG MARK-FREE MOUNTING DEVICE.
Pros: versitile and very strong
Cons: none
I used four of these to support a mounting plate for a heavy marine radar. It is SECURE, and can be relocated without leaving any screw holes.

EXCELLENT PRODUCT
Pros: excellent engineering & very well made.

I just bought my 2nd "Locking Suction Mount Base", for use at another location. My 1st suction mount still works perfectly, after mounting & un-mounting, in my ski boat, over 400 times. As with all Ram Mount Products, this is very well engineered & very well made.

VERSITAL SUCTION CUP MOUNTS
Pros: strong, sturdy, and look professional.
STRONG suction cups with mechanical locks. I'm using them to hold a $3000 HEAVY radar monitor on a pitching boat. If you have a clean, smooth surface, you can lock-on with these!

GREAT PIECE OF EQUIPMENT
Pros: works!
Cons: none
I bought it as a base for car use. Works perfectly. Garmin Oregon 450 was very stable (and I was driving on gravel and off road). I used it together with RAM Mount Short Arm B-Socket RAM-B-201U-A.

GREAT MULTI-USE MOUNT BASE
Pros: cheap and very effective.
I used 2 of these suction mount bases on either end of a 3' section of rectangular aluminum tubing to create a trunk mount removable loading bar to aid in sliding my kayak up onto my Mazda's roof rack. Easy to fab it up and works well. Basically zero chance of these suction mounts falling off or even sliding, once they're locked in place they won't move even a fraction of an inch. Make sure you mount on a clean smooth surface as they don't stick well if your vehicle's exterior is dirty, but then again, no suction mount would.

I have purchased couple of this suction cups and i am very pleased with it ,It works very well, It is one of the best product in the market ,I would recommend this product it's worth a money.

DASHBOARD/INSTRUMENT PANEL MOUNT
Pros: good sturdy mount, very easy to install
Cons: none that i can think off
I got this to replace the clamp style mount for mounting the Garmin GPS 296 in the 206 helicopter. It has stayed on the instrument panel at varying temperatures (+4 to +25).

RAM MOUNT LOCKING SUCTION MOUNT BASE RAP-224-1U
Pros: sticks like glue and is rock solid.
Cons: none so far.
This locking base is super. It sticks much better than my standard Garmin mount for my car. I'm using this to attach a hand-held Garmin Oregon 400c GPS to my kayak deck. It's never let go yet. In fact, you could roll the kayak over using this mount. So far it's standing up to the sun and salt water. I'm sure it wasn't designed for this - but it works! I rinse it thoroughly after each use.

GREAT SUCTION MOUNTING BASE!

Cons: bit on the ugly side
As with all of the RAM products this RAM locking suction cup mount is almost perfect. Functionally, it IS perfect - rock solid, and the suction mechanism is sturdy and effective. I give it the 'alomst perfect' for asthetic reasons, which frankly are pretty low on my list of what I need from the RAM products, which I use for mounting GPS receivers on my motorcycles and car. The suction base mount, while sturdy, is pretty chunky looking, so if stylish appearance for your Ferrari is high on your priority list, this may no be your product. On the other hand, if what you're looking is a very effective, unlikely to ever fail suction cup mount for mounting something inside your car windshield, this is your product.

BETTER THAN I EXPECTED
Pros: does what it is made to do
This replaced an earlier and larger RAM rubber suction cup I originally purchased several years ago to hold a heavy Garmin GPS Map 176C -- it never held to the windshield for more than a few minutes, and I ended up suing a dash mount.
This unit actually works, and has not had any problems keeping its suction, even with a heavy GPS. It would be more than enough for a Nuvi, Tom Tom, etc.

SUCTION CUP MOUNT
Pros: ease of use
Since I use this type of mount constantly for two weeks of every month, I have had to replace the suction cup part of my Garmin GPS296 mount every two to three years. Not bad since it is in the window of the helicopter 12 hours a day.

RAM MOUNT LOCKING SUCTION CUP BASE 3.25 DIA.
Pros: ease of cup engagement and removal.
Cons: no additional colors offered.
Very well constructed and adaptible for diverse mounting applications. I am very pleased with their holding strength and will be purchasing additional units in the near future as my design needs dictate.

USED TO HOOK UP MY BIKE TO THE CEILING!!!
Pros: very secure and of good quality
I modified the actual use of the suction cups to hold one of my bikes to the ceiling since I'm limited in spacing at home. No need to make holes in the walls or ceilings.
