Manufacturer Description |
The RAM Marine Grade Aluminum Mount with 3.25'' Locking Suction Base consists of the 1'' dia. ball and socket system with RAM Plastic Cradle and Extension Plate for the Lowrance iWay 350C Series.
BASE DESIGN:
 The RAM-B-224-1 RAM Mount Plastic Locking 3.25 inch diameter Rubber Suction Cup Base, with Marine Grade Aluminum Diamond Plate, is designed to have an extra strong hold on any smooth non-porous surface. With a twist on the locking knob, the suction cup base adheres to any glass¹ or non-porous plastic surface, as found on our Non Skid Base with Plastic Disk and Plastic Adhesive Disk.
Connected to the top of the Suction Cup is a RAM-B-238 RAM Mount Marine Grade Aluminum Diamond Plate with 1 inch diameter Rubber Ball. This plate allows the suction cup to join to an open socket found on the RAM 1 inch diameter socket arms.

Suction Cup Base Mounting Options:We currently offer three alternative solutions for mounting your suction cup mount in a location other than a windshield:
- The Super Grip Non Skid Base with round plastic plate, is a weighted base that can be placed on your dash without an adhesive or drilling. Simply place the base on your dash, or any flat surface and then attach the suction cup to the round plastic plate. This is perfect when you want a temporary mounting solution but the windshield mount just isn't the answer.
- The Suction Cup Adhesive Disk with round plastic plate, is a great mounting surface to attach the RAM Twist Lock Suction Cup. Simply stick the the plate to any flat surface and then attach the suction cup to the plate. This is perfect when you need to attach your suction cup mount to your car dash vertically or horizontally, rather than to your windshield.
- The Suction Cup Drink Cup Holder with round plastic plate, is a great mounting surface to attach the RAM Twist Lock Suction Cup. Simply place the base into any cup holder in your vehicle and then attach the suction cup to the plate found on top. This is perfect when you need to attach your suction cup mount away from the windshield or when you just want the mount off the dash.
ARM DESIGN:
The Powder Coated Marine Grade Aluminum Standard Length Double Socket Arm is 3.0'' long when measured between socket centers.
CRADLE DESIGN:
 The RAM-HOL-LO7 RAM Mount High Strength Plastic Cradle is designed to hold the Lowrance iWay 350C Series, including the following GPS units,
All cables can stay connected to the unit while in the RAM cradle.
Also included with the mount is the RAM Extension Plate (RAM-B-125B). This allows you to extend the cradle mounting ball to the back of the RAM-HOL-LO7 Cradle. You will now be able to place the cradle flat on any surface for better viewing angles.

Here is a listing we have put together of some of the common iWay 350C Extended Locking Suction Cup Mount features,
along with a few user tips that you may find of help for this particular item. | As shown below, the diamond plate connection point on the RAM-HOL-LO7 cradle is at the bottom of the cradle (Image 1 and 2). When the required mounting plate with ball (RAM-B-238) is connected, the ball will be positioned directly below the cradle. When you use the RAM Extension Plate (RAM-B-125B), shown in Image 3 below, the ball is positioned at the back of the cradle for better positioning on flat surfaces.

My fourth purchase from gpscity. Previous 3 went great and I expect this one will as well. I do feel rather sheepish though. This last week I've been combing the net for a golf GPS.
