Manufacturer Description |
The RAM dual swing and socket arm mount consists of a 6'' long STRAIGHT swing arm mounted on a horizontal surface mounting base. At the device mounting end of the mount is a rectangular 6.25'' x 1.98'' plate. The rectangular plate is connected to the socket arm with a 1.5'' ball and socket system.
There are three (3) pivoting points on the mount. The connection between the swing arm and the base is a bolt pivot point, and the rectangular plate to socket arm and the swing arm to socket arm connections have the RAM 1.5'' ball and socket system.
The bolt pivoting point allows a complete 360 degree rotation. The dual arm ball and socket system connection allows a 180 degree vertical pivot with a 360 degree rotation while the end plate ball and socket system allows a 180 degree vertical pivot with a 360 degree rotation.
