The RAM-D-101U-C-243 Flat Plate Laptop Tray RAM Mount is a Marine Grade Aluminum Short Mount with a Flat Surface Round Screw Down Base and RAM Half VESA (4 x 2 inch) Hole Pattern. The mount is designed with a RAM 2.25 inch diameter patented rubber ball and socket system that has adjustment point at the cradle and base. With a twist of the short arm knob, you can move the Laptop Tray Plate mount to your optimum viewing position.
Half VESA Mount Cradle Design:The RAM-D-243 RAM Mount Marine Grade Aluminum Universal Plate has a 2.25 inch diameter rubber ball connected at right angles to a 4.94 x 2.81 inch plate. The plate has pre-drilled holes in each corner making a hole pattern, between the 0.28 inch hole centers, of 4.045 x 2.0 inches. This is know as the half VESA hole pattern For a layout of the plate and hole location, take a closer look with the RAM-243 Design Drawings of the 1.5 inch ball plate (pdf file).
Half VESA Mount Arm Design:The RAM-D-201-C RAM Mount Dual Socket Short Arm is a 2.25 inch D size Ball Socket Arm made of Marine Grade Aluminum. The arm is 3.63 inches long between socket centers and is finished with a Black Powder Coating. The side of the arm includes a tightening knob which allows you to open and close the socket ends.
Half VESA Mount Base Design:The RAM-D-202 RAM Mount Marine Grade Aluminum Screw Down Plate has a 2.25 inch diameter Rubber Ball connected at right angles to a 3.68 inch diameter Plate. The plate has pre-drilled holes in the base plate, including two holes at 180 degrees and three holes at 120 degrees. My fourth purchase from gpscity. Previous 3 went great and I expect this one will as well. I do feel rather sheepish though. This last week I've been combing the net for a golf GPS. For some reason this evening the lights went on - gpscity. Thank goodness I remembered you folks. I'll never know what took so long though. Anyway, I got to you and I feel much better now. :) Don
