VERY GOOD GPS MOUNT
Pros: adaptable
Cons: none
I bought this Ram mount for my pickup and mostly for my fishing boat. Very satisfied for the pickup and should be satisfied for the boat. Will know next summer.

DECENT MOUNT
Mount worked well for 2 years however the lock wears out to the point that it no longer works if you use it daily. Cheap plastic.

EXCELLENT MOUNT
Pros: stable, secure mounting system
Cons: none that i can find
This is, by far, the best suction cup type mount I have ever used. It hold the GPS unit very securely and the suction cup stays stuck to the mounting surface (even the windshield) despite rapid changes in temperature (a problem with other mounts I've used). The RAM mount holds the GPS without vibration or movement while driving (even off-road) and easily adjusts for optimum viewing. I highly recommend it and I'm buying another (with the appropriate cradle) for my cell phone.

RAM GPSMAP 76CSX SUCTION CUP MOUNT
Pros: fits garmin gpsmap 76csx perfectly as advertised
Cons: plastic retaining arms
Suction works well on windshield but not on vinyl dash. Oily residue from vinyl-cleaner might prevent good seal. Plenty of adjustment that can be tightened to accommodate just about any viewing angle. I have not tested how well it holds adjustments over back-country roads. Fits Garmin GPSMAP 76CSX perfectly as advertised using plastic compression arms extending from bottom of cradle. Remains to be seen how well the arms will hold up to frequent insertion/removal of GPS.

GREAT GPS MOUNT
I bought this to use in my boat. The suction cup secures the mount against the most severe "wake bouncing". A great buy at a good price.

VERY SOLID GPS MOUNT FOR MY BOAT
Pros: very solid mount
Cons: a little pricey, but worth it
I bought this mount to attach my 76CSx to my boat windshield. I didn't want anything too permanent. The mount works perfectly. Even in very rough water, the mount remains solidly attached. It is very easy to adjust so that it can be viewed either standing up or sitting down.
Note, I also purchased the Bare Wire Power and Data Cable for the 76CSx (Garmin Part #010-10082-00) so that I could connect my GPS NMEA output to my VHF Radio. This mount accommodates the cable that sticks out the back of the 76CSx.
Everything worked perfectly!

BEST SUCTION MOUNT I HAVE OWNED
Pros: works like it should
works great never lost the suction once - went over rough roads if you can call them that - was left in the vehicle under a hot sun and we put on 2000 miles and it felt it was almost permanently stuck there but once the suction was broken off it came.

GPS MOUNT FOR 76 CSX
Pros: very maneuvarable.
Cons: heavy and may not suction to all surfaces.
I found this mount to be quite heavy, heavier than I expected. I bought it to mount my GPS to my deck of my kayak and it will not suction to the kayak surface because it is not smooth enough. Also getting the GPS in and out of the mount is quite difficult. The mount is very maneuverable however because of the rotary ball assembly.

VERY EFFICIENT GPS MOUNT
Pros: easy to adjust and realy does the job well.
The suction cup is very efficient and it does the job very well. I even fit it to my kayak. The service from Gpscity was perfect and very fast!

Pros: versatile, secure
Excellent. secure frame leaves all ports accessible. Dual ball arm makes for good positioning. Suction cup is solid. Works on the base or a window (or any flat surface).

RAM MOUNTS ROCK!
I am an owner of many RAM products, and mix and match as needed. The only thing I would have liked to see was a way to use the RAM sydtem in conjunction with the Garmin marine mount which captures the power/data cord in the mount. The RAM mount is a little difficult to get on anf off the GPS itself (spring loaded plastic!)

THIS IS THE ONE TO GET!
It's really worth it to have the locking suction cup, the first one I bought doesn't have the locking system and some times the suction cup release and you can loose your unit. So the locking one it is.

WOULD PURCHASE AGAIN
With the same competition - I would purchase this product again. Easy to use, functions great, adaptable for many different environments with one component change not a whole new unit. The only thing that I am not thrilled about with the unit is the way the bottom support pieces have to be pulled away during install and removal of GPS if done repeatedly I suspect this stress point will eventually fail.

SOLID MOUNT
I bought this mount primarily to use in my Jeep on some very rough roads. I previously tried a Garmin dash mount and it shook itself apart on the first trip. The RAM mount is rock solid it attaches firmly to the windshield and hasn't budged since I put it there over a month ago. On rough roads no matter how much the vehicle is bouncing around my GPS stays put and doesn't shake at all. My order was shipped within hours of placing it, and I received it in two days. Much quicker than expected. I'm very happy with my purchase.

RAM MOUNT W/ SUCTION CUP
I recently purchased the Ram mount w/ the locking suction cup for a second unit because the one I have had for a couple of years works so well. I attach it to the window in my vehicles and the holding power is amazing. Whether it is July or January it stays attached and holds the Map76CS without shake or vibration. I travel on both the highway and in fields and is equal to the task in both conditions.
