SOLID, WELL BUILT, HOLDS LIKE GLUE.
Pros: holds gps & windshield well, solid construction
Cons: a little tough to insert & remove gps from holder
This unit is mounted on the windshield of my pick up. It was easy to put together and holds to the glass like glue, down back roads and beat up highways. It is a little awkward to insert or remove the power cord while in the holder, and it is tough to remove from the holder, but I guess that keeps it from falling out accidentally too. The two ball joints allow almost limitless adjustments to be used at any angle so viewing is also very easy while driving. Although I've only had it a month, I expect the steel construction will hold up for a long time to come. I highly recommend this unit over the plastic, expensive mount from Garmin. My bother-in-law also has had one for a couple of months, and I do NOT recommend attaching this any where near a crack in your glass, like he did. The extra torque quickly caused his windshield to crack completely across in 3 directions, but the suction cup has never let go! He also bought his from another retailer and paid a lot more the the price at gpscity.ca I paid $20 less and waited a mere 3 days for my shipment.

We lived in Kenya where we adored the outdoors. There you need a stable and strong GPS Mount, RAM provide the best mounts, i know i have tested a few.... If you love the outoors you cannot go without RAM...

GREAT GPS MOUNT
Pros: powerful suction mount, easy to adjust
It works great. I love the single wing nut for adjusting the position. Easy to hold and position the GPS and then only need to tighten one wing nut.
Have used a number of other mounts for my Garmin Astro 220. None of them have made it through the weekend of hunting without falling off the windshield. This one does not fall off.

EXCELLENT GPS MOUNT
Pros: seems sturdy, not easily broken.
Solid, durable. Stays stuck to my boat windshield well even in rough seas. Would recommend re-sticking to windshield before every trip because it will not stay stuck forever.It will eventually fall loose after 3-4 trips.

I have a jeep and this mount fits the bill. Hasn't let go since I put it on. Holds my GPSr nicely with no vibration. I like the fact that you can buy parts separately in case you change units.

EXCELLENT MOUNT
Works well in the truck and boat. was easy to adjust for easy viewing. When not in use I stuck it underneath a melamine shelf in the storage room. It eventually lost it's sunction after a few weeks.

NO SLIDING 60CX VEHICLE MOUNT
Pros: rock solid mount
Cons: no instuctions
I had a dash mount before but the gps kept ending up in my wife's lap. Now, the 60cx stays where it should! Fairly easy assembly. A moment of head scratching over which screw length to use. Excellent product.

VERY VERSATILE. EXCELLENT PRODUCT.
After using this mount for 3 years I just purchased 3 more. They are to be used by our new geocaching club called Richard's Rangers.The club consists of 3 ritirees and 1 father and his son. They all are very pleased with the product. My original mount has been adapted to be used on the dashboard of the car and on my mountain bike.Thus I do not use the suction cup. I have found over 4,700 caches with this product.

I have had this mount for about a month. During that time I have traveled some rough roads. The mount has stayed rock solid and the GPS fits perfect in the cradle. The unit was quick to installed and adjusted perfectly.

I am a geocacher and need the GPSr close at hand. I put this on a slightly curved, flat-painted area, on my car dash and it has stayed there for 3 weeks and is still secure.

Well worth the money. Suction cup is very strong and holds well. I use it in my boat and stick it to the side window. Removes very easy. Would definitely buy another ram mount!

This is a very good mount. This is a sturdy and very good quality mount. I can not say it is the best as I have only had one. One thing to consider. Due to the small screen on these GPS's, consideration as to there mounting location is important.

INDUSTRIAL GPS MOUNT!
The mount definitely keeps the GPS in there REAL good. Almost too good really. It holds the GPS in secure via the belt clip knob. Out of the package the fit was so tight that I had a hard time removing the GPS from the mount while it was still on the windshield. To solve this I used a sharp packing knife to trim the little plastic ridge that locks on to the belt clip. This makes the GPS much easier to remove and its still quite secure.

RAM GPS MOUNT IN JEEP
I bought this mount for my Garmin 60csx to put in my jeep and go 4 wheeling with it attached to the windshield. Even bouncing around off road this thing holds great no vibration and I can read it easily while I am driving mapping trail or just around town looking for addresses. I would recommend it to anyone with a high stress situation or if someone wants a mount that is extremely adjustable and tough.

Ce Ram Mount est très pratique, principalement sur un VTT. Having used the product over a month period, I am very satisfied with its overall performance. Easy to mount & adjust, feels solid plus it remains attached to the winshield over rough terrain. Wonder how long the suction base will perform under extreme conditions such as +50ºC during the long Kuwait summertime...

Pros: very lightweight, great adjustability
Cons: poor finish in some areas of the unit
The unit has remained attached to the windshield while driving over bumpy roads and during some mildly cold temperatures. The real test will be how it stays attached during extremely cold, sub zero temps. The online videos were nice to review the product before purchasing.

Very nice overall unit. Easy to position in any possible position. Some finish issues though. The paint was rubbing off the ball mount areas, some flashing left on plastic parts, and the lip in the bottom of the cradle is rubbing the little rubber nubbins off the bottom of our 60CSx. Hopefully it wont wear right thru. Lastly, its ery tough to get the GPSr in and out of the cradle.

Cons: iffy finish, rubs bottom of gpsr.........
Solid feeling mount and can be mounted in every conceivable position. Finish of some of the pieces is cheesy and cheap. Paint rubbed off on ball studs, plastic has some flashing left on it. It can also be difficult to gt the GPSr in and out of the cradle. The lip at the bottom of the cradle rubs the rubber nubbins off the bottom of the 60CSx unit. Hopefully won't rub all the way thru.

this mount was just what I needed ... fits perfectly on my kayak... on my gas tank of my motorcycle... and in my car. the price at GPS City was the best on the net. The mount was also better than anything available from Garmin... SO this was a no brainer.

FIRST GPS MOUNT -
Pros: very sturdy. seems to be indestructible.
Cons: very little instructions as to how to install.
I bought this GPS mount for my 60Cx and it worked like a charm. Now the good stuff: - nice build quality. - solid design. - fail-proof. - no rattles. - can move the arm around to adjust viewing angle. - does NOT block any cables (great for 12V-USB). - easy take off. I would definitely recommend getting one of those if you plan on going on road trips. But I wish the box came with more instructions (I thought they sent the wrong thing before I finally figured it out).

THE VERY BEST GPS MOUNT ANYWHERE!

This mount is built tough! It stands up to heat, cold, rough terrain. You name it this mount holds on and dont let go. Other mounts I've used have a little play in the construction or operation. The Ram Mount is designed to eliminate any play or vibration thereby keeping the unit in a constant fixed position. Is a lot easier to check at a glance without all the vibration or distortion you get from other mounts. I really love this mount! I cant say enough about it! Beautiful design, attractive, fully functional! What else could a person want out of a mount?

I have taken a few trips with this unit firmly mounted to the window with out a single drop off. I am very impressed with the quality and ease of use. I recommend it highly. I take it off the window when leaving the vehicle in the sun for a few days as a precaution, but that is just me. Easy on and Easy off.

I know of at least 10 ppl here at work who use the 60CSX in conjunction with the RAM mount, we cover around 1500km per week mix of off road and sealed road driving and not one of the RAM mounts have fallen off. awesome..there is no room for any other mount, Im not associated with the company, just happy that I have finally found a good mount!

RAM RULES
Pros: very well made, best investment you can get.
Cons: a little hard to remove but no big thing.
I have and do own many RAM mounts and have loved them all. Bought this mount for Geocaching and I can use it for both my car and my motorcycle. It holds on tight and for some that may be an issue but on a bike you just don't want $500 sliding down the road at 70mph.

Pros: easy to use
Cons: must take care when removing gpsr from cradle
Good unit overall. I am using it on the windshield,and it is extremely easy to mount and reposition with the locking suction mount. Holds the GPSR securely in place. GPSR is also easily placed in the cradle. A little care needs to be taken when removing the GPS from the cradle to prevent damage to the rubber on the GPSR.

i use this with my garmin 60cx. had it for a little more than a month, in temps as low as -40c with no problems. it did fall off the windshield once, but i hit a very big bump a little to fast. well built, strong, worth every penny

This mount gives you limitless options for positioning your GPSr to whichever angle you need. When mounted in the car, there is absolutely NO vibration, and the mount is rock solid. You won't regret using this mount. It's top notch. As a side note, I had the Ram Gooseneck mount prior to purchasing this mount. While it was OK, it had a little too much vibration when driving on rough road, but this mount is 100% steady.

GOOD UNIT
Bought this to use with my Garmin 60CSx. Been using the mount for about 3 months now. Overall I'm very happy with the mount. It holds the GPS securely and is very adjustable to optimize viewing angle. The only problem I've had so far is that on a very hot day with a cool night, the mount came unstuck from the windshield and ended up on the floor. The GPS stayed in, but I can only give it a 4 because of this.

This is one great product. I was extremely impressed with this product when I opened the package and couldn't be happier. We use our GPS both in our ski boat and our vehicles. It works great no matter which vehicle we are in, and it stays put in rough water. This is a must have for anyone wanting a great mount that is very durable and stays where you put it, also the ability to swivel in almost any position is an advantage over the Garmin product.

RAM SUCTION CUP MOUNT
Absolutely outstanding. I finally tired of the cheesy Garmin auto mount and bought the suction cup mount. I already owned the RAM cradle and arm of which I use on my motorcycle. I suggest that you also purchase the suction cup base.
