GREAT MOUNT, VERY TOUGH!
Pros: strength, size, adaptability, price
Cons: not sure there were any. haven't found them yet.
This mount takes a few minutes to install, but is totally worth it. I installed this for my new 13" laptop and with the pivot options this can place my computer as close or as far as I would ever want it both while driving and while I am using the computer. The platform is really sturdy and it can definitely support some extra weight if necessary. I found that that in addition to the laptop it works great for clipboards that have interior storage. Now I have a writing desk that too is easily adjustable to my needs. Overall great purchase and this site had the best price. I would order again from this company should I need anything else in the future.

NICE!
Pros: sturdy. well built
Cons: tough tray side clamps are too bulky for a laptop
I was skeptical that this would reach the drivers reach when it was mounted to the passenger seat frame. Thankfully I was wrong. This thing is incredibly robust, and just about perfect I would say.
I'm driving a 2008 chevy van and using a 13" Macbook Air.
One recommendation: The side clamps that come with the RAM tough tray really aren't that good for a laptop. At least with mine, I could not even get close to closing the laptop when not in use. (so it was always riding around open around 20 degrees)
Spend the extra few bucks and get the other flush side mounts and use them instead. Now my laptop closes perfectly after every use.

BEST LAPTOP MOUNT
A great product..no holes to drill, all hardware provided,even had extra for different mounting options.I could not ask for anything better.Mount is very stable and holds lap top where you need it.does not move around while driving.I would purchase again

AFFORDABLE LAPTOP MOUNT
Good product so far. Installed easily and holds the computer nicely. I'd recommend it and I'll be purchasing more of them as our fleet grows.

GREAT LAPTOP MOUNT
Perfect fit for the installation. Very solid mount when installed. The whole assembly is very tight and amazingly stiff, even going over the railway tracks. My van is a pretty hard-riding one-ton, so that says a lot. Install procedure was simple and well covered in the info sheet.

INSTALLATION PROBLEM
The ball mounted under the tough tray is too small a diameter for the ball and socket joint. When the ball and socket joint is tightened to the fullest extent, the tough tray falls out of the ball and socket joint. I do not feel it is appropriate to rate this product until i can use it.
Recommend? NO
