MOUNTING BUTTON PROBLEMS
Pros: good materials of construction. Cons: mounting button problems
The OEM mounting button has to be replaced with oversized RAM button. Cannot open battery door with RAM buttton installed. Belt clip rotates RAM button and the screw can fall out causing radio to become lost when using the belt clip. Why can't they chage the clip to be like the RAM-HOL- GA12U or RAM-HOL-GA20U so that the OEM mounting button can be used?

NOT WHAT I EXPECTED, BUT GOOD PRODUCT
Pros: seems sturdy Cons: not compatible with garmin stock mountsmike
I expected this cradle to fit into my Garmin bar mount (my old cradle broke). Unfortunately it is a differ type of mount, more permanent and not transferable from bike to atv to sled without drilling holes in everything. Seems as though it would be very good for it's intended purpose though.

EXCELLENT MOUNT
Pros: snug, sturdy
I use these to mount a Rino to each of our jet skis. I needed something that would withstand rigorous conditions and so far these have not balked. They are very snug and given their intended uses, (motorcycles, bicycles etc) it seems to me that any mount that is not snug will fail. The button is a little large and on one I have to remove it to remove the batteries, but that only takes a few seconds. In order to make it easier to remove the Rino from the cradle one can push the Rino down in the cradle and then then pry the top of the clip over the button - it works like a charm. (In my case I installed this with a quick disconnect, so I grab the radio at the top and press the the base of the radio into my chest with one hand. This pushes the radio down in the cradle, and then I use my free hand to pry the cradle clip off of the button.)
I'm completely satisfied with these mounts.

RAM MOUNT GARMIN RINO 100 SERIES
Pros: holds gps securely Cons: must remove allen screw to replace batteries
Well made of good materials. Holds Rino 110 GPS securely. However, you must remove an allen screw and the mounting tab every time you need to change batteries. Furthermore, due to the Garmin propensity to shut off because of vibration, a soft, vibration absorbing mount must be fabricated and attached to this unit if you want to mount it on a motorcycle, bicycle or any other vibration-prone locations.

DURABLE BELT HANGER
Pros: durable, can be used for multiple mounting styles Cons: difficult to remove once installed
Unit works well and is very sturdy. However, it holds the Rino so well that it is difficult to remove it for replacing batteries, etc.

RINO MOUNT
The design is not the best in my opinion. Once you click the rino into the cradle, it takes a lot of force to remove it back out from the cradle. it feels like you are going to break the unit. However, having said that, the cradle does do it's job by really securing the rino to the cradle and it does not fall out even on very bumpy trails.

PRETTY GOOD MOUNT
Pros: nice cradle Cons: bad bad generic button design!!
Button sucks in my opinion! Too tight of a fit, had to file some off for the battery cover. The button should have a raised center so the outter rim fits snug against the Rino body. Mine pulled the knurled "nut" through the plastic after many removals from the cradle to change out batteries. Used some JB weld to fix it and build up the outer edge of the button/rino gap which happened to break on my trek from the states to Alaska. Still find it much easier to use a key to jimmy turn the battery lock around. Also I took a saw and file to the left side of the cradle and lowered it 3/4 of an inch so I can push the page button more easily with motorcycle gloves on. Even went so far as to email manufacturer and all they said was to read forums and modify it. Too lazy to fix it so let the customer do it I guess. Have to recommend because the rest of Ram mount parts are great, just the cradle button is the worst part.

BATTERY COVER PROBLEM
As stated before the button covers the batter cover so you have to remove the button to change batteries, even worse is that the button doesn't just screw on, it has a small allen screw. So you need the correct allen wrench to remove it to get to the batteries. Very poor design in my opinion.

This cradle looks good and is sturdy but some problems exist. The button on the back they give you is too big and you can not remove the battery door with the button in place. Also you can not get the GPS out of the cradle unless you use force not good Sorry but that's the facts.
