NICE MOUNT

Cons: none as far as i am concerned
This mount is a very well thought out design. It holds my Oregon very sucurely. The GPS snaps in out out easily. The USB connector is exposed if needed.
I adapted it to a generic windshield suction cup mount I already had, which is much smaller and compact than the other windshield mounts I saw available for this RAM mount.
I am very happy with the RAM mount

GREAT ADDITION!!

This is a very good product and a great addition to both my Oregon 550 and my new Approach G5. With this and the Ram suction mount i can use my units almost anywhere.

BEST MOUNT
Excellent mount, I use on ny yz250f 2008 for x countries in Kenya. Even at 110/115 km/h it taus very firm and also when you have rocks and shake it holds extremely well Highly recommended

JUST WHAT YOU NEED
This is a great cradle.The roller system is a lot nicer than the older style ram cradles...it's very secure and snaps in and out easily. Also the points of contact where the cradle touches the gps on the bottom are touching the rubber area of the gps, unlike my older model which caused some wear issues. Two thumbs up.

BEST GPS MOUNT ALL AROUND
Pros: easy in and out of the gps and is secure.
Cons: none.
This mount allows the easiest installation and removal of my Oregon 550T GPS. I have taken it on my Polaris ATV for approximately 75 miles of rough trails and no issues with it. It holds the GPS snuggly in place.

SOLID HOLD, EASY IN-OUT

I use this cradle on my mountain bike. It is easy to get my Oregon in and out and no matter how much I hammer my mountain bike (and it does get hammered!), my Oregon stays put.

WORST GPS MOUNT
Pros: easy to mount
Cons: didnt hold the unit securily
I had my RAM mount/cradle mounted on my bike for the Oregon 450- hit a bump (hard), the unit popped out landed in 2 lanes of traffic and was run over by a semi! I had the unit less than 6 months!

Pros: very stable, sturdy material and secure mount
Cons: none i can see
Best mount if you have this golf GPS unit. Product is good sturdy quality and holds unit very stable with no fear of your GPS unit coming loose from mount. Design makes it very easy to insert/remove the G5 from the mount and access the power button and touch screen.

EXCELLENT DESIGN
I wanted a safe secure and easy to use mount for my Garmin Oregon for my motorcycle. (one weather proof GPS for both hiking and biking) It works GREAT! Easy in and out, and no risk that vibration will cause any loss.

Pros: roller latch, positive retention of unit.

This cradle works great, holds GPS securely and doesn't scratch it. It has a small roller under the top latch which smooths transition into or out of the cradle without damaging the case of the GPS.

PERFECT MOUNT FOR OREGON.

This is a wonderful mount for the Oregon. The factory Garmin mount had reviews about allowing the unit to fall off if the environment became bumpy. It only slides in on the back. I have this mounted on my car, my motorcycle and mountain bike and I think that, God forbid, I would still be looking at it upside down even if the terrain got the best of me. In the car I have this mounted on the RAM Mount Diamond Plate Short Suction Mount RAP-B-166U-A. They work great together. On the bike and Motorcycle it is on a handlebar RAM ball mount. Great holder and great gpscity.com service.

Bought Oregon Cradle for my new gps to interchange with my ram mount I have for my older 60csx. Also got the proper ball mount to go with it which makes it so easy to move my gps from car to bike to kayak in under a minute.

Excellent mount for golf GPS. Very stable and holds unit secure. Using with cup holder base providing a portable and very secure mount in golf cart. Easy to take in/out of cradle when needed with the roller mount.

PUT A HOLE IN IT FOR THE OREGON 550 CAMERA

Cons: needs hole for camera
I suggested to RAM that they redesign this with a hole in it so that the camera in the Oregon 550 models can be used while mounted. They are looking into it.
Anybody else agree? Tell them.

GREAT FIT !
I am using the Oregon Mount Cradle for a few weeks now and I must say it fits perfectly. The GPS holds firmly so it is easy to operate the touch screen with a finger while flying or driving.

Very easy to mount and dismount my Oregon 300 on my bicycle- - much easier than the RAM mount I had been using for my GPSMAP 76cx. It is a perfect fit and very secure. One reviewer found sharp plastic edges that scratched the rubber on his Oregon, but the one I received was smooth. So far there are no marks of any kind on my Oregon.

Very good fit. You can released unit with just one hand. The only thing I would change is shorten the finger tab used to remove the GPS from the cradle. This is not a big deal since I can cut part of the tab off to suit my preference. I did not see how the cradle could damage the GPS like one reviewer said.

The fit and finish of this mount was very impressive. I replaced an Etrex mount on my atv for this new cradle to accommodate a Garmin Oregon 400t I purchased. The roller attachment on the top is very secure and makes removing and installing the unit a breeze.

GOOD BUT......
Pros: holds the gps but.....
Cons: sharp corners gouged my gps
The cradle works great holding the GPS in the roughest of conditions. However the mount lower edges damaged my Oregon 400t the very 1st ride on my KTM. The sharp edges of the cradle gouged the rubberized coating of the GPS. The GPS works fine but if I wanted to sell it I would take a big hit as a result of the damage to it.
