DECENT MOUNT
Pros: quality
Cons: doesn't hold power cradle
While the mount does it's job it could be better. It could hold the power cradle in place allowing you to take the GPS out without it being in 3 pieces. I have one for my 885t and the cradle snaps into the mount and stays there even after removing the GPS. Much easier to use. Other than that Good quality like expected on all Ram Mounts.

Excellent fit, plus RAM offers a lifetime replacement warranty unlike the piece of shit Tomtom cradle I was previously using on my BMW motorcycle.
I will NEVER purchase any more Tomtom products period.

Pros: low cost. secure fitting. convenient.
Well designed. Haven't used it yet but it has everything I need - Nuvi compatible PLUS charger cradle recess so it makes it easier to use and I don't have to source special parts to get it working.

RAM MOUNT FOR GARMIN NUVI 770
Pros: nice mount if you get one that is not defective.
Cons: nice mount if you get one that is not defective.
Ram Mount holds the Garmin Nuvi 770 very securely. When I tightened the rear of the ram mount to the Ball assembly the rear of the mount split. For the cheep price of the mount it was not worth sending back. Very disappointed in this mount. I own over 24 different Ram mounts and this was the first one I ever had a problem with. I have seen this mount before and it looked real good that is why I ordered it. I think the one I received was defective from the start.

Very nice inexpensive mount that with a small amount of fitting you can remove the gps with the cord still connected. This Is REAL nice when it is mounted in a tight spot. I have 3 of these because I have 3 motorcycles that I put the gps on. I would highly recommend it.

Cons: need to unplug to snap into mount
Every thing works fine , well constructed and solid. With cable attached GPS would not fit into cradle. Unplugged then snapped in fine. Should fit with cable.

My 750 fits in the cradle securely. The cradle is well made and of very strong material. Once mounted on my motorcycle handlebars I won't have to wory about losing the gps unit due to excessive vibration.

I have ordered from GPS City in the pasta and my afternoonorder arrived by noon the next day. This time I ordered this mount and had it again the next day. Great servicend the mount is perfect and ajustable to change angle for various lighting situations. It only takes a few seconds to remove it from my motorcycle. I do not see how it culd be any better

GREAT MOTORCYCLE MOUNT

Cons: works best to just leave the gps in the cradle.
I use a Nuvi 780 on my dual sport motorcycles. The mounting system must be secure, and still isolate as much vibration as possible. The Ram mount is the best I have found. The GPS is very secure in this Cradle. I also use the same mounting system and cradle in my truck and jeep by sticking a flat RAM ball mount to the windshield with double stick tape. To remove it, I just remove the entire cradle and attached mounting ball. The power cable is easy to attach and detach while the GPS is in the cradle.

Cons: old gps technology requires archaic nuvi mount
Tight fitting cradle that mounts to the standard ram holder. Well made by RAM but the cradle is designed to retain the Nuvi harness which is cumbersome. Also, the power outlet is on the right side and and is pretty tight to connect.

SOLID CRADLE FOR THE GARMIN NUVI.
This fit my Nuvi 765 perfectly. The mount is shaped such that the it fits around the GPS with the Garmin power cradle attached. It holds the unit quite firmly.

EXCELLENT FIT
Purchased this GPS bracket for my Harley just before taking a week long touring ride thru Canada. The roads were a little rougher than here in the US but the unit did great in holding my GPS secure and in view. I certainly will consider other Ram Mounts.

GREAT MOUNT FOR MY MOTORCYCLE

I've mounted my Garmin Nuvi 765T onto my motorcycle, and this mount does the trick nicely. I'm using the 12V power cord that came with the GPS, so I get traffic as well, which is a nice plus.
Attached to the diamond plate mount I had from my old GPS, without any issues.
It is a bit of a pain to detach the power cable before removing the GPS from the mount, but that is more a limitation of the GPS than the mount.

Great product as usual for all RAM products. There's room for the power cord attachment making the 12-volt charger that came with the GPS work. I didn't know this when I bought it and purchased a separate 12-volt mini-USB charger. Either works fine with this cradle. I use the cradle for my motorcycle and it's very secure.

Using a the Nuvi without the cradle and surviving the rush hour swarm from Florence while searching for a charming Tuscan villa is guarantee for marital discord, traffic tickets and a foretaste of hell. I know, I left my mount at Heathrow. Now I own two mounts, the spare lives in the camera bag.
Joy - the ease of ordering a replacement from GPS city, and the speed with which the replacement arrived.

You just can't beat RAM mounts. The 765T snaps in and out very easily yet when it's snapped in it is very secure. I purchased a kit to wire the 765T directly into my motorcycle battery power. This mount will allow you to snap off the suction cup from the powered GPS mount and use just the powered GPS mount with the cradle. Works perfectly.

My Nuvi 765T fits snugly in the mount. Plugging the power cable in takes some practice since it must be performed after the GPS is fitted into the mount. Overall, workable and priced great.

GARMIN 700 SERIES CRADLE
The cradle and mount are a very nice piece of equipment. I had received a broken cradle. Damaged during shipping. It was shipped in a bubble wrap envelope. The cradle has a thin spot at which it was broken. Cost ME an additional $6 to return it for replacement. The transactions went well. The additional cost is the only complaint I have at this time.
Damaged part due to poor packaging and shipper should not cost the customer additional expense.
Recommend? YES

765 CRADLE ON A BIKE

Cons: (lack of) ease of cord connection
Works very well on a sport bike. No indication that the GPS will ever come out of the mount on it's own. Very solid. The only downside is that the power cable has to be connected/disconnected while the GPS is in the mount. It would be nice if you connect the power cord first and THEN snap the GPS in place. Overall two thumbs up.

Due to the difficulty in mounting Garmin's GPS nuvi 750 mount in my particular car I have tried the RAM Mount. It does the job quite well. It is not as neat as the Garmin mount but allows for more flexibility in mounting in unusual places. The design could be improved a little where the power cable mounts the apparatice.

RAM MOUNT FOR GARMIN 765T
With the Garmin 765T in the Ram mount, inserting the power connector into the unit is difficult without bending the flex arm 90° each time you insert or remove it. I pushed the power cable up through the bottom Ram mount slot and then connected it to the GPS. But, I was then unable to push the GPS completely back in, because the connector was hanging up on the upper part of the mount. To solve this problem, I removed approximatley 3/16" off the top of the mount opposite the connector. Power connection and insertion is now easy.

PERFECT MOUNT
I am using a 750 on my motorbike and the 750 snaps perfectly into it, its safe and secure. I drive a KLR so the ride can be bumpy/rough, but it never has snaped out of the mount.

I bought this cradle to mount my Nuvi 755 on my motorcycle fairing. I made the fairing mount and bolted on the cradle. It works great, the nuvi is very secure. An inexpensive way to mount a GPS on a bike.

Good design for this cradle, allows a good tight fit. My only concern is that over time the top clip could potentially scratch the plastic. Price and quality cant be beat. I am very happy with with purchase.

FITS WELL ... BE BETTER IF ..
This holds the unit very securely. It even has sufficient space to permit the Garmin cradle as well (which allow you to use the Garmin's DC adapter connector and provides a microphone input).
I would have gladly paid much more to have it include all the wiring such that I could merely pop the Garmin in and out (as I do on my car), and not have to mess with connecting the power and/or audio wires each time.

AWESOME CRADLE
Pros: simple works as advertised

This cradle really works well, i have it mounted on my 94 Harley Heritage Softail with my 760 on a dock n rock amplified speaker system.
Never an issue with vibration and the mount holds the unit really tightly... the unit allows you to access all the ports easily...

NO DIRECTIONS, BUT GOOD PRODUCT

I suppose I shouldn't tell you that I'm in Mensa, but the GPS fits into the cradle both right side up and upside down if you have its own adapter off, and I put it in upside down, then spent quite a bit of effort trying to figure out how to connect power to the GPS. A slip of paper with directions would have saved me some hassle. The mount itself is terrific. I put it on my motorcycle and rode 3200 miles last week without a single problem.

ROBUST GRIP!

I use this GPS mount with a small RAM handlebar adapter for my bicycle. Previously I had a RAM mount for a Nuvi 360, and once my GPS jumped out of the mount and onto the pavement when my bicycle hit a pothole. Not a good thing! (Fortunately the GPS still worked afterwards.) The design of this mount re: holding the GPS appears excellent. I can't imagine the GPS coming out, though I haven't yet used it much.

NUVI GPS HOLDER

Works good for my Nuvi 765. You have 2 choices for powering your GPS. First, and least convenient/pretty is using the stock snap in mount that comes with your GPS (without the suction cup/ball mount. This setup enables you to use the stock power cable with traffic receiver. I had issues with this because it's hard to find a pretty way to hide the big honking traffic receiver plug. I changed to option 2, which is getting the USB power cable available at RadioShack. I hid the much smaller cigarette lighter plug under my seat and ran the plenty lon cable to the GPS stem mount. Now, I don't have to remove the stock snap in mount from my truck, just the GPS. The GPS snaps in to this cradle and USB power plugs in to the bottom of the GPS. A much cleaner setup. A clarifying note: This cradle can be used with the stock cradle attached or without. The GPS and stock cradle fit inside this cradle. Let your power supply of choice delineate which you use.

PERFECT FIT
I have purchased this mount for my Nuvi 780 and it cannot fit any better. You keep the original craddle and the mount basically encapsulates the Nuvi and its craddle to form a very secure set-up on my R1200RT. All I/O are still accessible like power and audio out.

GREAT CRADLE
This cradle fits my Garmin 755T perfect, Easy to take on and off on my Harley Ultra Classic, worked great on my 2,500 trip. I am thinking of another mount for my I-Pod!

GARMIN 750 ON A CBRXX
Pros: sturdy, secure
The cradle, diamond mount, standard arm, and lever attachment for my CBR were ordered together. This is the second complete RAM unit I've purchased and have been delighted with both. The other is used for my digital camera or radar detector. RAM makes excellent products!
The only problem, and it's not RAM's, is the Garmin 750 has no way to charge from a direct battery connection. It operates off an internal battery with 5 hours being the unit's functional limit. There is no way I know to allow a DC hookup using the cradle.
That being said, the RAM is terrific.

GARMIN MOUNT
If you buy a GPS, the mount that comes with it is cheap. I recommend this mount for the following reasons: it is secured to your windshield firmly will not slip or fall off excellent for trucks or any off road activity, camping, gravel roads or just sight seeing. Its durable construction and design make it one of a kind A MUST HAVE FOR GPS OWNERS

GARMIN NUVI RAM MOUNT
Pros: tight fitting, custom cradle holds it well.
Cons: tough to quicly remove from cradle.
The RAM Cradle mount holds the Nuvi very well and is great for a permanent mount, but don't plan on removing it very often.
I suppose it is Garmin's fault for requiring their supplied mounting bracket to interface between the cable and the GPS itself. The RAM mount does handle it well for a permanent mount though.
But, because you have to attach the adapter to the GPS, attach both into RAM mount, and then plug the cable in behind all of it, it's a pain to remove regularly, if you live in a "questionable area". It would be far nicer to have the OEM mount attach into the RAM mount first, and then have the GPS plug into that, or better yet, just incorporate the adapter directly into the RAM mount (at a higher manufacturing cost, of course).
If you forget to unplug the cable first, and you can bend the cable.
I do recommend the shortest attachment arm you can. I tried a longer one first, to get it closer to me in my truck, but the engine caused too much vibration. Changing to a simple VESA swivel eliminated the vibration.

NICE...UNTIL STOLEN
I liked the Garmin unit, but did not get to try out the mount. A week after getting the GPS, I left it in the car charging, with the unit on. It makes a nice bright glow at night...bright enough to draw attention to it. It was stolen. The serial number is on the unit but not the paper work. I recommend writing down the serial number before putting it in your car.

This quick release mount for my Nuvi 750 worked our great. I used it in conjunction with a RAM reservoir mount and the shortest arm RAM offers.

I've been out for a few rides now with my Nuvi 750 in this cradle using a z-arm RAM mount to the bike (BMW R1200RT). The cradle works great, quite secure and properly cut-away for the necessary OEM power-cradle. I never remove the OEM cradle, only the power connector, as I have another GPS for the car. So no issues for me that another poster noted.

NUVI 755T CRADLE
Pros: flexibility, solid grip
Cons: difficulty of snapping unit in and out of cradle
Having used the RAM mount cradle for the nuvi 350 for a couple of years, I expected the same firm grip and ease of use (I take the nuvi out when not in use) in the 755T cradle. Unfortunately, while the grip is the same, snapping the unit in and out with the power cable connected is problematic with this cradle. The problem is that the cut out in the back of the unit is too small due to the way the side mounted cable attaches. The stiff part of the cable adjacent to the connector hangs up when you go to snap it out (I fear I am going to break it). Snap in is easier but must be done carefully making sure the cable is out of the way. You can unplug the cable and snap it out but this is difficult to do when the nuvi is mounted close to the dash. Part of the problem here is Garmin's. The length of the nuvi itself and the choice of power port location makes attachment difficult for the solid RAM mount frame. I recommend the unit only because there is nothing else like it and the flexible deployment options offered by the cradle, six-inch bar and suction cup are hard to beat when you drive rental, government vehicles and family cars like I do.

MSN DIRECT
This Nuvi 785t doesn't go directly to my destinations. It zig-zags through many residential areas instead of taking less turns as possible. This happens no-matter if I choose the shortest or the fastest rout or off road. My bluetooth phone won`t well when the MSN direct charger is plugged in.

GOOD JOB, RAM
I'm not fond of the Garmin connector. But the Ram cradle works beautifully and allows me to leave the Garmin cradle attached. I use it on my motorcycle. In my car, the Garmin cradle works with a Ram Mount ball mount.
Consistently excellent products from Ram Mount at reasonable prices.

CRADLE IS GREAT BUT ...
it does not allow connecting the nuvi 760 with the FM receiver. This is frustrating as I do wish to use the traffic updates and the RAM mount. It does not appear there is a purchasable answer. I am considering making a plate that would attach to the RAM mount diamond and use the Garmin suction cup mount. This defeats my purpose for this mount. YMMV (You mileage may vary)
This said, the RAM Mount cradle fits perfectly and fulfills the basic cradle needs just fine. If you used the standard power cord, it would all work since the access points are readily open/accessible.
[Ed. note: This is actually incorrect. The RAM cradle does allow the Garmin cradle to remain connected while holding the unit. You can then connect the FM receiver to the Garmin cradle.
The FM receiver is also the power cable, and it does fit with the RAM cradle connected.]

it`s a fairly decent mounting bracket all but the holder , I`ve got the 750 and the holder has broken on me across the front but i have no other choice as far as n mounts go they need to make this one out of metal for strength
