RAM MOUNT FOR GARMIN GPS
Pros: easy to assemble and put in place.
The mount that came with my Garmin started to fail by suction mout just falling of the windshield. I order the Ram mount from you and installing it in the car it was clear to me how superior this product is compared to the Garmin mount. I and extremely pleased of the quality of workmanship with this mount.

EXCELLENT GPS MOUNT
Very well built. Equivalent quality to my RAM Mount for my Skycaddie. Much better quality than other avaialble 3rd party mounts. Required as my wife's Garmin has a permanent mount in her BMW, can't be removed to use in rentals when e travel.

GREAT GPS MOUNT
Pros: everything Cons: none that i have found yet.
I purchased this mount to use with my Garmin Nuvi 760 on my motorcycle (this model Garmin not recommended for use on motorcycles). That said, I used my Garmin once with the OEM mount on the bike once and it ruined the Garmin back plate because of the way it attaches. I purchased this mount because it does not utilize the standard mount therefore keeping the original mounting intact. I was a little worried that the extension arm would be too long and the unit would stick up too far on the bike but you can virtually put this thing in any position (I mount mind with the suction cup to the tank). The suction cup is super strong, holds way better than the one that comes with the Garmin. I highly recommend this mount.

GREAT MOUNT SYSTEM
Pros: quality of product
I purchased this mount for a friend. He installed it on his BMW R1200CL motorcycle, to hold his 765T & substituted the U bolt mount for the suction cup mount. As mentioned the only draw back is that you have to unplug before you can remove from mount...but that's minor problem.

THIS THING IS BEAST! NO PROBLEMS W/POWER CABLE
Pros: looks & feels extremely durable, secure fit on gps
I just put up my new RAM Mount and this thing is a beast, in a good way. I'm confident it would still be attached to my windshield if my car tumbled down a cliff.
I was concerned about the power cable after reading several other reviews, but it was an easy fit (I have a Nuvi 750). The cable snapped in cleanly and nothing in the mount is pressing against it or putting it under pressure. Yes, you'd need to remove the power cable before taking the GPS out of your mount and this might not be the best solution for someone who frequently takes their GPS down. I think it's a perfect solution for someone who leaves their GPS up most of the time. No more GPS falling off my windshield!

NOT PRACTICAL
Pros: well made Cons: design flaw renders unit useless for ease of use.
Due to the design flaw, this mount is useless if you take your GPS unit out of the car and store your mount out of site when not in use. You are going to break the side pin on the power cord, which holds the power cable to the GPS unit, then you have problems for sure. It is well made but a total waste of money. What good is it if you can't easily remove your unit when you leave you car to go for lunch etc., then just clip it back on the mount and resume your travels. You sure can't do this with this mount.

Pros: price and quality
This is the article I was looking for! The best and ruggest mount for your Garmin nuvi GPS. No vibrations, never falls by itself.
Easy to ensamble. Only to put 4 screws and thats all
This model permit to use the original Power cable that came with your nuvi 700 series... Only you need to put the original garmin base on your gps, then all they in the cup mount. Exactly as show in the article videos

CAN BE A GOOD MOUNT.
Pros: solid mount for the garmin 755t and family Cons: you need to do a bit of diy to make it useful.
I really like Ram mounts because you can mix and match the various ball joints and connectors. I ordered a replacement mount for my Garmin 755t. The mount is well made but has a design flaw. Connecting the power connector is a bit fiddly. The connector attaches to the back of the Garmin and there is a bit of plastic blocking the power cable if you try to remove the GPS prior to removing the power cable. I was able to remove a rectangle of plastic on the rear left hand side of the RAM mount. This makes it possible to remove and attach the GPS with the power connector attached.

ALMOST USELESS GPS MOUNT
When I bought a Garmin750 GPS I ordered an additional suction cup mount(designed for all 7xx models and offered by gpscity.ca) for my 2nd car. But upon delivery I had to realize that the additional mount cannot be connected to power as opposed to the original one provided by GARMIN. That means you can't use your device on this mount for a longer period of time(a couple of hours)unless you buy an extra power cable to connect the device directly. I am disappointed that gpscity.ca doesn't have any info on that on the website I am dissapointed
