CRADLE FOR GARMIN NUVI 3700
Pros: perfect fit - easy to use Cons: needs a rain cover
I am very pleased with this cradle. The unit fits in very snug ( needs some pushing) and will not just pop out when riding. In my opinion, the cradle fits the unit perfectly.

SECURE MOUNT, BUT OVERLY TIGHT
Pros: secure, fairly low profile, compatibility Cons: tight fit, difficult removal
I have several Ram mounts, they are all very reliable and secure. This one has a tighter than usual roller clip on top that makes the fit very tight when installing and removing the GPS. I will say that it is very secure. I dont think you would damage your GPS but i did worry about that.
I have several GPS units and several ATV's, Boats and snowmachines, and the ability to interchange the cradle mounts, arms and base mounts makes these mounts the best on the market.
I still would go with this mount over any other mount.

NUVI MOUNT
Overall good, only issue is getting the gps in the cradle. It seems the top part that goes over the gps is too stiff

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME/DESTROY YOUR GPS
Pros: non Cons: does not work, could destroy your gps
I had a RAM mount for an older, larger Garmin GPS. When I bought the Nuvi, I thought that I could just replace the mount and use the rest of my RAM mount. I looked at the on-line video and it looked simple enough. However, when I tried to put the Nuvi in the mount, it simply would not go in. I worked with it for bit and got it half in but then could not get it out. Finally, I got a pair of pliers and pried off the cradle so that it would not destroy my GPS. I let GPSCity know, but I had nothing to return.

HIGH QUALITY AND GREAT CRADLE MOUNT FOR MY GPS
Cons: hard to remove the garmin cradle from the unit.
Securely holds my after market Garmin GPS on my Goldwing. The GPS snaps in and out of the cradle relatively easy. Removing the Garmin cradle from the Ram cradle is a bit of a chore - the only reason I down rated the unit to 4 stars vs. 5 stars.

RAM CRADLE
Pros: cheap to upgrade
The cradle fits the 3790 perfect and the beauty of the Ram system is that you only buy the pieces you need when you upgrade to a new unit.

NUVI 3700 CRADLE
After receiving one of the first batch of the Nuvi 3700 series cradle, Express Mounts sent me an additional modified one because they were concerned about the difficulty of removing the speaker/connector module from the cradle. I don't think this is really the problem they thought it was. My guess is that the intent was to have module very securely in place so it wouldn't pop out accidentally. Having a secure attachment is very important to me since I have it on a motorcycle, and there is not place to attach a tether for safety.
What I did, and now recommend, is to buy an additional Garmin module (Model: 010-11478-00), snap it into the original unmodified cradle and just leave it there permanently. It is only about $20 from some sources and it adds a lot of security and convenience to use it that way.

TOUGH CRADLE
Pros: secure, no worries Cons: very tight fit
This cradle will definitely hold the GSP securely in place. It is so tight that you might worry about damaging your unit when snapping it in place. The video looks easy, but... after a few times it is getting easier or I'm getting more confident.

RAM MAKES REALLY GREAT MOUNTS, USUALLY!
Pros: it says "ram" which is usually a good sign! Cons: this cradle just doesn't seem to work as it should
RAM makes the best mounts, and I have purchased several cradles for different GPS models, for use on my motorcycles. GPS City is always great to deal with. But the RAM cradle for the Nuvi 3700 series is an exception. At first I could not get my GPS and the electrical connector to snap into the cradle. I called customer service and they acknowledged an issue with that particular cradle. Two weeks later I received another cradle with the receiver ball ground down. I assumed that was the fix, but the hold-down roller clip is so tight that I am afraid of damaging my GPS when I force it into the cradle. It requires way more pressure than I am comfortable with, and I can't imagine mounting and dismounting it every time I park my motorcycle.
