The RAP-B-166-2-GA25 Garmin nuvi 200W, nuvi 205W and nuvi 465T Series RAM Mount is a High Strength Plastic Composite Mount with Locking Suction Base and RAM Custom Plastic Cradle. The mount is designed with a RAM 1 inch diameter patented rubber ball and socket system, with Grip-Lock, that has adjustment point at the cradle and base. With a twist of the Grip-Lock arm knob, you can move the Garmin nuvi 200W, nuvi 205W and nuvi 465T Series mount to your optimum viewing position.
Garmin GPS Mount Cradle Design:
The RAM-HOL-GA25 RAM Mount High Strength Plastic Cradle is designed to hold the Garmin nuvi 2xxW (wide), nuvi 2x5W (wide) and nuvi 2x5WT (wide) Series, including the following GPS units,
- Garmin nuvi 200W
- Garmin nuvi 205W
- Garmin nuvi 250W
- Garmin nuvi 255W
- Garmin nuvi 260W
- Garmin nuvi 265WT
- Garmin nuvi 465T
The cradle will fit around the Garmin cradle that is included with the purchase of the Garmin nuvi 2xxW and nuvi 465T series unit. All cables can stay connected to the unit while in the RAM cradle.
The Garmin nuvi 2xx and nuvi 2x5 Series, including the nuvi 205, nuvi 255, nuvi 200, nuvi 250, nuvi 260 and nuvi 270 WILL NOT fit this cradle. These units require the RAM-HOL-GA24 RAM Mount Cradle for the Garmin nuvi 2xx and nuvi 2x5 Series.
Garmin GPS Mount Options:
To help ensure you have the Garmin nuvi 205W, nuvi 255W, nuvi 200W, nuvi 250W, nuvi 260W and nuvi 465T Mount you require, take a look at the list of available RAM Garmin GPS mounts on the RAM-HOL-GA25 Series of Garmin nuvi 2xxW, nuvi 2x5W and nuvi 465T Cradles and Mounts Page. Here you can select from suction cup GPS mounts, flat surface screw down GPS mounts, GPS car mounts, non skid weighted GPS mounts and more bundled with the RAM-HOL-GA25 Garmin nuvi 2xxW, nuvi 2x5W and nuvi 465T Series Cradle.
Garmin GPS Mount Cradle Plate:The RAP-B-238 RAM Mount High Strength Plastic Composite Diamond Plate is designed to connected to the back of the mount cradle. The diamond plate has a 1.0 inch diameter rubber ball connected at right angles to the plate, which connects directly to the 1 inch arm socket. The cradle includes the required hardware to connect the plate to the cradle. For a layout of the hole spacing and 1.0 inch rubber ball location, take a closer look with the RAM-B-238 Design Drawings (pdf file) (Note: the Plastic RAP-B-238 Plate is thicker than the RAM-B-238 Design Drawings shown).
Garmin GPS Mount Arm Design: The RAP-B-201-1 Twist Grip RAM Mount Dual Socket Arm is a 1 inch B size Ball Socket Arm made of High Strength Plastic. The arm is 2.0 inches long between socket centers. The side of the arm includes a round grooved tightening nut which allows you to open and close the socket ends.
Garmin GPS Mount Base Design: The RAP-B-224-2 RAM Mount High Strength Plastic Twist Lock Suction Cup Base is designed to have an extra strong hold on any smooth non-porous surface. With a twist of the outside cone edge, the suction cup base adheres to any glass¹ or non-porous plastic surface, as found on our Plastic Non Skid Base, Cup Holder Plate and Plastic Adhesive Disk. Built into the top of the suction cup is a 1 inch diameter rubber ball. This ball allows the suction cup to join to an open socket found on any of the RAM 1 inch diameter socket arms.

Suction Cup Vehicle Mounting Alternatives:We currently offer three alternative solutions for mounting your suction cup mount in a location other than a windshield:
 The Super Grip Non Skid Base with round plastic plate, is a weighted base that can be placed on your dash without an adhesive or drilling. Simply place the base on your dash, or any flat surface and then attach the suction cup to the round plastic plate. This is perfect when you want a temporary mounting solution but the windshield mount just isn't the answer.
 The Suction Cup Adhesive Disk with round plastic plate, is a great mounting surface to attach the RAM Twist Lock Suction Cup. Simply stick the the plate to any flat surface and then attach the suction cup to the plate. This is perfect when you need to attach your suction cup mount to your car dash vertically or horizontally, rather than to your windshield.
 The Suction Cup Drink Cup Holder with round plastic plate, is a great mounting surface to attach the RAM Twist Lock Suction Cup. Simply place the base into any cup holder in your vehicle and then attach the suction cup to the plate found on top. This is perfect when you need to attach your suction cup mount away from the windshield or when you just want the mount off the dash.
