GARMIN GPS NUVI 2XX GRIP-LOCK SUCTION MOUNT
Pros: solid mount, easy to read
Cons: no instructions badly designed screws
This mount works brilliantly BUT it's difficult to put together. You must put together the 2-part mount and no instructions. Once you ask 2 friends to help you figure it out, the mount works well. Until the 2 screws pop out and then you must go to the hardware store, where the manager gives you better screws, cursing the incompetent people who designed this mount. So buy but beware that you'll be working at it a bit.

RAM MOUNT GARMIN
Cons: is is not a suitable replacement for the garmin.
The mounting did not allow power cord room to be plugged in. It required major modification to accomidate the power cord. Further it does not allow easy removal of the system in avoid theft when leaving the vehicle.
Recommend? NO

REPLACEMENT GPS HOLDER
Service was good and the item was as appeared online. Shipping was higher than I wanted to pay and the device was costly for what you get. Having said that, three things come to mind with this product. 1) It works 2) It is bigger than it needs to be and a challenge to pack in your travel briefcase 3) The power cord has to be feed through the back of the device which means you have to unplug it each time you want to remove it from view for security purposes. My original holder (left in a rental car in CA) allowed me to remove the GPS and put it on the floor or glove box without disconnecting the power from either end.
