The RAP-299-2-GA35 Garmin nuvi 1490T Series Vehicle Cup Holder Mount is a Plastic Composite Mount with a RAM Designed Vehicle Cup Holder and RAM Custom Plastic Cradle. The mount is designed with a 6 inch long Aluminum Flex Rod connecting the cradle and cup holder base. Once the base is securely mounted, you can move the Garmin nuvi 1490T Series cradle to your optimum viewing position with a simple bend of the arm.

To help ensure you have the Garmin nuvi 1400 Mount you require, take a look at the list of available RAM Garmin GPS mounts on the RAM-HOL-GA35 Series of Garmin nuvi 1410, 1450, 1450T and 1490T Cradles and Mounts Page.  The RAM-HOL-GA35 RAM Mount High Strength Plastic Cradle is designed to hold the Garmin nuvi 1400 Series, including the following GPS units,

- Garmin nuvi 1450T
- Garmin nuvi 1450 LMT

All cables can stay connected to the unit while in the RAM cradle.
Garmin GPS Mount Base Design:The RAP-299-2 RAM Mount Vehicle Cup Holder Base is designed to hold your electronic device in an accessible location when you don't want to attach anything to your windshield or dash - as long as you have a cup holder. Simply slide the base into a spare cup holder in your vehicle, and you are ready to go. The mount includes a solid plastic composite tube base with customizable support fins connected to a 6 inch flex arm with a plastic plate end for attaching the mount cradle.

My fourth purchase from gpscity. Previous 3 went great and I expect this one will as well. I do feel rather sheepish though. This last week I've been combing the net for a golf GPS.
