GLAD I PURCHASED THIS GPS MOUNT
Pros: good design and easy to take on and off.
Cons: none
Seems to work well. It is quite a bit more solid than I expected. It looks like it will last forever.

MTB BIKE MOUNT
Pros: solid
Cons: poor adaptation to stem
Ideally the maker would adjust the bar mount so it sits on the stem better. I have had to modify by grinding aware some curve. Its really designed for the handlebar but a stem mount is more useful on the MTB.
Recommend? YES

SOLID GPS MOUNT
The mount seemed to work well. There was never any danger of the gps falling out or anything. Initially, I was a little annoyed with the Zip tie design, but it definitely had its advantages. For one, it makes it easy to fit to any side handlebar (vs. a screw clamp design). It does make it sort of a pain to move the mount from one bike to another, but even that wasn't too bad. If you are really patient, then you can even get the mount off without destroying the zip ties. And, even if you prefer to cut the ties, new ones are pretty cheap.

GREAT GPS60 BICYCLE MOUNT
Pros: east assembly
Item arrived very quickly and it was easy to assemble. Within 5 minutes I was out for a ride to see how the mount performed - on pretty bumpy terrain. There was no problem - all worked perfectly as it held the GPS securely. As secure as the mount was it was still simple to remove the GPS after my ride. Very satisfied.

NECESSARY COMPONENT FOR MOUNTING ON YOUR BICYCLE
Pros: sturdy, strong, works, simple, reliable
If you've done some search on reviews of Garmin's bike mount for the GPSMAP 60 series, it is true that it breaks too easily and does pop out when used riding on bumpy terrain. However, this RAM bike (bicycle) mount is sold. The extra few bucks is totally worth the investment. I cyclocross and I've used this during training and it stayed on my bike given almost any situation you'd encounter cyclocrossing.
Recommend? YES
