| RAM Mount Garmin GPS II III and V Series Cradle Description |
The RAM High Strength Plastic Cradle is designed to hold the following GPS units,
- Garmin GPS II
- Garmin GPS II+
- Garmin GPS III
- Garmin GPS III+
- Garmin GPS V
- Garmin GPS V Deluxe
All cables can stay connected to the unit while in the RAM cradle.
Placing your GPS into the Cradle:
Position the front bottom of the GPS unit (antenna must be at the top) behind the lip at the bottom of the front of the cradle. Now rotate the GPS unit back into the cradle until the top lip of the cradle 'clicks' over the top of the unit.
The cradle can rotate to allow viewing the unit with the vertical or horizontal screen.
Included with the Cradle:
The cradle includes a set of two nuts and bolts to connect the cradle to any of the RAM compatible mounts.
Important Mounting Information:
If you already own this cradle, or any other cradle with a hole pattern that will match the RAM Diamond Plate hole spacing, then you require one of the RAM Assemblies listed below. If you are looking to purchase a complete mount for the above cradle, take a look at the Complete Mount list below.
This cradle does not ship with a RAM ball. To add a 1 inch ball to this cradle you need to purchase either the Aluminum Diamond Plate with 1 inch ball (RAM-B-238) or Plastic Diamond Plate with 1'' ball (RAP-B-238). If you need to mount this cradle on a 1.5'' ball system, you will require the Aluminum Diamond Plate (RAM-238).
