NOT PROPER RAM MOUNT FOR E-TREX 20!
Pros: holds the unit into the ram mount very securely.
Cons: don't work with 12 volt power supply.
This ram mount is the one suggested for the Garmin E-trex 20 but when the unit is mounted with the 12 volt power cord attached - it doesn't fit! If the 12 volt connection on the unit was turned 180 degrees around, there would be no problem. Another option would be to change the 12 volt power supply cable - instead of having a 90 degree turn in the connection, it could be designed to go straight in.
Thanks to GPS City, they recognize the problem with the ram mount / 12 volt connection and refunded me for the ram mount. Ram has been working to design another mount for the E-trex 20 and I look forward to getting it.
