PERFECT BIKE MOUNT
Pros: easy to install, durable
Cons: none
I was purchasing a new BMW 1200 GS and was picking up the bike 1000 miles away. I wanted to have the added support of a GPS, however did not want a huge Zumo that stuck out too far and cost too much. I got an ETrex 20 and the NT Navigator maps for North America. This mount is pretty low profile and seems pretty durable as well. I mounted it between the clamps for the handlebars IT was very easy to install and easy to remove the GPS when leaving the bike. The only thing I did...because it is fastened to the bars with zip-ties...was I put a wrap of electric tape (you could also use friction tape or duct tape I guess) to get a little better bite on the bars, to keep the unit from spinning or moving. With the zip-ties being exposed to the elements also, it may be a good idea to periodically (once a year or so, depending on amount of use) change the zip-ties out to keep them from cracking or breaking.
Otherwise it is a great unit and I would recommend the GPS/Mount combination to other riders

SOLID, NO-FRILLS MOUNT
Pros: secure, easy to use mount. price.
Cons: none yet.
I just finished a 300 mile mountain bike race with my Garmin Etrex20 and RAM mount. I needed the mount to be solid and stable and it was. I zip-tied the mount to my stem and never had a bit of problems. The unit was centered and steady leaving room for my light, computer, and handlebar straps on the bar. The unit locks in and didn't move or vibrate in addition to the bike. I'm very pleased and you can't beat the price.
